Signature

  • I'm the opposite of knowledgable regarding kanji and Japanese. Is the image of Yaeko's signature actually her signature? Can someone do that section and aybe verify that they match?--NissanVersaDootDoot 16:38, 5 October 2007 (EDT)
    • The professors in Sword Saint say it's her signature. They could be mistaken, but we're just going off what they say. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:35, 5 October 2007 (EDT)

isnt she dead?

If Yumi is listed as deceased, shouldn't we do the same for her great-grandmother? --Piemanmoo 19:34, 5 February 2008 (EST)

  • I agree, Yaeko should have died of old age by now. She's not immortal as far as we know.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:50, 5 February 2008 (EST)
    • Besides the fact that it's entirely possible that Hiro could have taken her with him at some unknown point in time back to the present, we don't mark people dead unless they're shown to be dead, or we have some evidence that they're no longer living. Otherwise, where do we draw the line for "old age"? There are strong arguments for and against somebody like Journal female 3, who would be turning 124 this year. The safest route is to not mark people dead unless there's some strong evidence that they really are. Sucks, I know. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:58, 5 February 2008 (EST)

Promo pic

Okay, maybe this is just me being silly, but given the fact that this is a 17th century character, does it strike anyone else as odd that her pic has her posing for the camera? I mean, that would be foreign to her. I would think a candid-style shot would make more sense.

But then again, maybe it's just me being silly.  ;-) Hypnometal 02:27, 15 March 2008 (EDT)

Yaeko/Season Two Archive?

Is there any reason to archive a character that only appeared in one season and will likely have very few other appearances? -Lөvөl 11:04, 18 August 2008 (EDT)

  • I archived it with the assumption that the rumors of her return are true. But you're correct, I kinda jumped the gun.--Bob (talk) 14:29, 18 August 2008 (EDT)
    • Yeah, the same thing happened with Simone. [1] I say it's better to archive too much as anything can be undone, rather than be left with a long to do list of characters that need to be archived...but yeah, I think Yaeko's archiving can probably wait a bit... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:41, 18 August 2008 (EDT)

Is she comming back or what?

Ok, so I'm really confused. I remember hearing rumors that Yaeko was supposed to be coming back this season except in present day. It was even published in the official Heroes magazine a few issues back. But seeing the way this season is going I really don't see a place for her character. I've looked all over the internet but I cant seem to find any more updates on whats going on with her character coming back this season. I personally hope she doesn't. Does anyone know whats going on with Yaeko, is she returning or not?--Cairoi 17:24, 30 November 2008 (EST)

I really wouldn't know what they would do with her if she did return. I agree, she would be out of place this season. However, a lot of old faces are returning for the Villains finale, Duality. If she did return, I imagine it would be in that episode. Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 17:26, 30 November 2008 (EST)
