Welcome

Thanks for the heads up ! Hope I'll help, glad to represent the french touch' ! --FrenchFlo 07:47, 24 January 2007 (EST)

Times Square

Nice work on the Times Square article! One thing: can you go to this page and note the original source for this image? Just a link to the website it comes from is fine. We try very hard to credit the sources of all our images in case there's a question about copyright at some point. Thanks again for your hard work!--Hardvice (talk) 12:40, 25 January 2007 (EST)

Language

Don't worry about the language -- you're doing great! (Et votre Angalis est meilleur (mieux? meilleur?) que mon Français, je croix. :) )--Hardvice (talk) 13:24, 25 January 2007 (EST)

On dit "meilleur" en Français. Mais par contre on dit "je crois" avec un s. Anyway, thanks mate ! --FrenchFlo 13:32, 25 January 2007 (EST)

Guard pic

Hey, FrenchFlo. Thanks for uploading the pic of the guard. The pic has already been uploaded, and we want to avoid having duplicate pics - that way we can make changes on one pic only. Here's the pic you can use: Image:Museum guard.jpg. Thanks! - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:56, 25 January 2007 (EST)

Welcoming new users

Hey, FrenchFlo. I know you do a lot of the welcoming of new members, so I thought I'd give you a heads up on something we talked about last night. We discovered that when you include the welcome template, it throws off the section heading edits. It's best to substitute the template instead. In other words, rather than typing {{welcome}}, you can type {{subst:welcome}} and that should take care of the problem. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:23, 20 February 2007 (EST)

French wiki

  • Hey, FrenchFlo. I dont remember if I ever discussed it with you, but we've had the basics of a French version of Heroes Wiki in place for a long time at http://fr.heroeswiki.com, but unfortunately we don't really have any contributors there who speak French so it's in need of major maintenance. Do you have any interest in doing translations of the English wiki into French or know people who might be interested? I know we get French visitors and it would be great if that site took off to help those who don't know English. It's probably too much work for a single person, but if you know other French Heroes fans then they might be willing to help, too.  :) (Admin 15:58, 25 February 2007 (EST))
    • Yeah I know about the French heroes wiki... but you know.. I use this wiki to improve my english skills and I do really like to read/write/watch things in English. Plus, French community isn't really the best hehe. Finally, I would say that for me translating TV show is ... mhh.. what's the word, altering the spirit of the show. When I see how french watch TV show like Prison Break, it's pretty horrific! So I'm sorry to say that I don't think I will contribute to the French wiki but I'll try to give this one the best I can. This site is sooooo great and it's contributors so cool ;) --FrenchFlo(talk)(contribs) 16:10, 25 February 2007 (EST)
      • No problem. :) I was just thinking about the French wiki earlier and remembered that you spoke French so I figured I'd ask. We appreciate your contributions wherever they are. :) (Admin 16:16, 25 February 2007 (EST))

Picture Deletions

I add a question on this topic, what's about the file in the Special:Unusedimages? Why don't we delete them if they are uploaded for a long time (November 14, 2006 for exemple) and still unused? --FrenchFlo(talk)(contribs) 15:32, 26 February 2007 (EST)

  • Hey, FrenchFlo -- typically, there's no need to delete a picture unless it's poor quality (in which case it should probably be reuploaded) or a duplicate image. If it's just unused, that's okay. We have a lot of space on the server to keep pics around for awhile. If there's one in particular that you think should be deleted, just let us know; however, we tend to not delete pics all that often. Hope that ambiguous explanation helps! :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:03, 27 February 2007 (EST)

AWI/Company redirects

Hey FF, it might be a moot point since you seem finished, but I just wanted to let you know that when a piped link says AWI, it will redirect to the Company. For instance, you don't need to change every link that say AWI's gun to The Company's gun because they will redirect to the same page anyway. The same goes for AWI's needle and The Company's needle (which actually both redirect to pneumatic syringe anyway...) Of course, you're more than welcome to make whatever changes you want, but I just thought I'd save you some time. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:20, 28 February 2007 (EST)
