Welcome to Heroes Wiki!
Here are a few links to get you started:
- If you are new to Heroes or Heroes Reborn, you might want to start at the New User Portal.
- If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
- If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style.
- If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
- Of course, if you have your own idea for adding a new article, that's great, too.
- Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
- To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
- You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
- When posting on an article's Talk page you should add --~~~~ or click the signature button.
- This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
- Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
- When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
- If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
- You can also customize your user page if you like.
- Additionally, if you would like to add any fan-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:Riddler/ to the page title when you create the page.
Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!
Pasta
Hey Riddler, I got a clearer cap of the pasta ... it's definitely the Symbol! Awesome catch!--Hardvice (talk) 02:11, 24 January 2007 (EST)
Map/List Folks
Hey Riddler! Great job on these guys. I got Felipe Acera set up with the standard format for character pages if you want to take a look. Again, thanks for all your contributions and welcome aboard!--Hardvice (talk) 14:07, 24 January 2007 (EST)
Gallery on Spoilers Page
Hey, Riddler. Just thought I'd let you know how to do a gallery. First, start a new section called "Gallery". Then type the gallery tags <gallery> and </gallery>. Inside, you can put each image, and then pipe a caption. Then, don't forget to put the article into the galleries category. Here's what you should type:
==Gallery== <gallery> Image:first pic.jpg|first caption Image:second pic.jpg|second caption </gallery> [[Category: Galleries]]
Hope that helps! - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:40, 25 January 2007 (EST)
Character cards
Nice work cleaning them up. One thing to watch, though: the template looks for a comma in the fields. If it finds one, it makes the label plural (Children instead of Child, Siblings instead of Sibling, Parents instead of Parent). Taking the commas out broke some of the labels.--Hardvice (talk) 01:39, 6 February 2007 (EST)
- Yeah, that was my fault, too. Riddler had added some in, and I took them out. I forgot about the comma call. Oops! — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:48, 6 February 2007 (EST)
Doing great
Hey, Riddler ... Just wanted to let you know you're doing a fine job using the wiki. We all start someplace, and we all learn as we go. Don't worry about mistakes -- if you make one (we all do!), somebody will come along and fix it up for you. You're doing just fine. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:07, 20 February 2007 (EST)
- Hey, you asked me to check out your comments. You can check out my response. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:22, 20 February 2007 (EST)
- Okay, now check it out. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:31, 20 February 2007 (EST)
Synopsis inaccuracies
- Hey, Riddler. If you notice anything in the synopsis that seems like maybe I came to the wrong conclusion or anything, do feel free to fix it. :) Sometimes I see a scene one way and it turns out I was wrong, so definitely keep me honest. :) (Admin 01:21, 20 February 2007 (EST))
- Ahh, yes, I have to type very quickly to get as much info as possible when writing them, so I do often make mistakes. I figure the info's the important part, we can always fix the grammar and punctuation later. :) Also I just rewatched the scene. He does appear to stop time when he's shot with the tazer. There's the familiar sound of time winding down which is the most compelling evidence. Peter keeps moving while The Haitian and Mr. Bennet are motionless. Plus the tazer sound stops and the electrictity doesn't arc on their tazers. Then once time returns to normal the sound is heard again. I agree that it's unlikely that he just stopped time since the probes wouldn't just fall, but it looks like he stopped time first and then dropped the probes afterwards.
