Micah

Why do I feel that someone will take a bullet for Micah? I mean, literaly. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 14:03, 2 June 2009 (EDT)

  • because it was super-obvious? :D --IronyUTC CH 14:14, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
    • Because When Micah appeared in Cold Snap he hadn't been shot... or dead. --Skullman1392 14:18, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
    • Unless someone from Rebel can get to Micah in the next couple seconds, it's going to have to be someone unexpected... maybe Claude?--Gibbeynator 14:19, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
      • Pointless ending.--Citizen 14:21, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
        • AFAWK, Claude is still in Europe. It can't be West or Sparrow cause we know they're alive later on. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 14:22, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
          • Maybe it's not a bullet, but one of those tazor thingys. Matt was shot in the neck with one in A Clear and Present Danger. --Isaac Mendez 15:27, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
            • The rifle they show doesn't lead to me to think it's just a taser. If it is, it'll be majorly anti-climatic. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 15:31, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
              • Yes, I predict that someone will take the bullet or creep up behind the sniper and hit him-- By Danko CH 16:22, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
                • That would be fine, except the shooter already shot... or maybe that "blam" was the shooter getting hit from behind... --Skullman1392 17:00, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
                  • Yeah maybe an evolved human shot at the sniper or used a loud ability on him.-- By Danko CH 17:06, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
                    • It doesn't even have to be an evolved human, for that matter. If you have your gun sight trained on someone, you generally won't be paying attention to what goes on behind you. Someone may just have sneaked behind the sniper and knocked him out or tasered him.
                    • I think it's highly likely the person who stops Micah from being killed is Monica. I mean the Rebel stories are really more about Monica than anything else, since that's what started the whole Rebel thing. Whether that means they plan on killing Monica or not, I don't know, I guess we'll have to wait and see.--Dman dustin 17:28, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
                  • I'm pretty sure the Blam was a gunshot. It's consistent with the same way they represented every other shot in that GN, including West's, and that's a pretty heavy-duty rifle to be firing stun bullets. So, who takes the bullet for Micah? Can't be Abigail, Sparrow, or West since they were over on the other side of the street with Nana and Damon. Claude's a possibility if he's been following Rebel everywhere to keep an eye on Abigail (though if he dies in the next novel a lot of people will be angered). Hmm.Swm 07:16, 3 June 2009 (EDT)
  • Perhaps the gunshot was from someone who shot the sniper themselves, thats never been done before ever. --Lolwut 07:25, 3 June 2009 (EDT)

Nana Dawson

I'm disappointed about Nana being 'normal'. In Rebellion, Part 1 she was listed as a passenger on Flight 195, a flight that most people thought was restricted to those with powers. However, now she has been put in Human Resources. I was hoping that she would have a great power and that Monica would also be featured. Is anyone else disappointed about this? -Joshua Korolenko

  • "Human Resources" does not mean that everyone being held there is simply human. It is the same room we saw many other heroes, including Mohinder, Doyle, Matt, and Daphne. --Skullman1392 02:43, 3 June 2009 (EDT)
  • I'm pretty sure Nana does have an ability. Human Resources is just the name they gave to the room where all the powered individuals were being kept (Damon obviously excluded). They couldn't have shown Monica with another 3 Rebellion GN's (I think) left in the pipeline. Swm 07:12, 3 June 2009 (EDT)

Mistake

Is it just me, or should the little title section with the artist and everything say part four, and not three (on the screencap from the GN)? -- Tristan0709 talk 01:47, 3 June 2009 (EDT)

  • It is wrong. I noticed it right away. I just don't know why somebody took that out of the trivia section, that's def. noteworthy. --Skullman1392 02:43, 3 June 2009 (EDT)
    • I removed it because both the interactive and downloadable versions of the GN have been corrected to say Part 4. The picture we're using on the page at the moment is inaccurate, not the GN. It probably should be taken off now. Swm 07:09, 3 June 2009 (EDT)
      • Isn't it noteworthy that it was initially wrong?--Skullman1392 09:30, 3 June 2009 (EDT)

RGS page?

now that Ryan is officaly a cannon character, should he be given his own page? Would his occupation be hotel/nightclub owner? Should his power be the ability to cross over the 4th wall?--Piemanmoo 02:39, 3 June 2009 (EDT)

Nana

Why was she drugged up in Building 26? she doesn't have abilities... or does she?--Lolwut 07:27, 3 June 2009 (EDT)

  • It's unconfirmed. Hiro, too, was drugged even though he didn't have an ability at the time. The Building 26 agents have been known to make mistakes. Until Nana (and Damon) are confirmed to be evolved humans, they should not be listed as such. See here for further discussion. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:08, 3 June 2009 (EDT)
    • Common sense is that if you know that abilities run in families, and Nathan, Danko, and Bennet knew this, heading the group, that you would collect both known specials and uncertain family members of specials; with the idea that you would monitor and test them to see if they too were special. So as Ryan said, Nana, Damon, Lee, and any other character captured by Danko's team doesn't confirm them to be a special; but rather just shows them related or associated to a particular special to the point that they were targetted for capture. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 06/3/2009 10:18 (EST)
      • I'd actually go further to say that it confirms Damon ISN'T a special. Wasn't his grab a mistake? I thought they were going after Nana, Monica, and Micah, and ended up grabbing Damon instead of Micah by mistake (meaning he was notably NOT a target, so they had no reason to even suspect he might've been a special). --Maelwys 10:50, 3 June 2009 (EDT)
        • Since we're speculating anyway; being the brother, grandson, nephew, great-nephew, and cousin of specials would make Damon a highly suspect person for an organization charged with the task of identifying and rounding up all specials. It wouldn't be very thorough to avoid capturing him when the opportunity arose. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 06/3/2009 11:04 (EST)
          • I agree with Maelwys, it's unlikely that Damon has an ability, his grab was a mistake and the GN says he is Human Resources not the drug pen house, I wouldn't be suprised if Nana had one really --Lolwut 11:40, 3 June 2009 (EDT)
