- I'm not crazy about the use of the phrase "confirmed spoilers". Spoilers are only confirmed when they are aired. Until then, it doesn't matter if the source is Tim Kring himself, they're still speculation. We need another phrase to differentiate spoilers with semi-reliable sources from base speculation, IMO.--Hardvice (talk) 14:42, 15 November 2006 (EST)
- Something along the line of Published Theories to differentiate them from Fan Theories ? --Orne 14:49, 15 November 2006 (EST)
- I'm open for any change we think is best. I'm not in love with the phrase either, simply something to separate. I changed it to Published Spoilers for now. --kcnovA23 16:44, 15 November 2006 (EST)
Delete or Archive?
- The only spoilers on this page not already proven correct are very old and, IMHO, no longer important. Anyone else think we should delete or archive this page? --Fcphantom 17:13, 25 January 2007 (EST)
- I agree with you, but some find old spoilers interesting and valuable. Go figure. See [[Talk:Spoiler:Godsend|here]] for a further discussion. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:24, 25 January 2007 (EST)
I want to bring this conversation up again. I think it's pretty clear that we no longer need this. As far as I know, there are archives for episodes, but don;t we delete ones for characters after they have aired. Samedi is my example, as the character's story has been aired/concluded, and his spoiler page cannot be found anywhere. It's now a redirect to his main article. -- Tristan0709 talk 21:11, 2 January 2009 (EST)
- Here's how Spoiler:Samedi looked right before it was redirect to Baron Samedi. You can also scroll through the history to see other edits to the page. I totally agree with you, Tristan. I'd like to get rid of this page, and all spoiler pages that are no longer spoilers. I guess I can see why people like keeping the episode spoiler pages around, but I'm all about killing the character ones. I'll nominate this (and a few others) for deletion. If there's no major opposition to it, I'll get rid of the pages after awhile. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:24, 2 January 2009 (EST)
- Sounds good to me. The archived spoilers category looks weird with all links to episode spoilers and then Zach at the bottom, I believe the is the only character there. Do we have spoiler pages for our main characters? -- Tristan0709 talk 21:30, 2 January 2009 (EST)
- Linderman and Candice. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:07, 2 January 2009 (EST)
- Both of whom we know for sure are not coming back, as opposed to Zach, correct? I know it's highly unlikely that Zach will return, but still possible, so I'd say it's safe to delete those two, and this one too, but those ones first. Even if Zach does return, we can always re-make the article, no big deal. Btu he probably won't. And no, I have no idea what I am saying either.-- Tristan0709 talk 22:08, 2 January 2009 (EST)
- The issue is not so much whether or not the character is coming back. The issue is that these are old spoilers that no longer have any significance. This page is a relic from before we had a central spoilers page. Now, if we have spoilers about an existing character, we just post them on Spoiler:Heroes. If there were current spoilers about Zach, we'd put them on Spoiler:Heroes anyway, not here. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:30, 2 January 2009 (EST)
- OK. So why do we have Spoiler:Alex, Spoiler:David/Luke/Whoever he is and Spoiler: Sylar's father? -- Tristan0709 talk 22:35, 2 January 2009 (EST)
- They are characters who haven't appeared yet. When they do appear, the page will be moved to the nonspoiler (main) namespace, making the spoiler page a redirect. The spoilers will be removed, and the pages will continue as regular character pages. If the characters don't appear, the spoiler pages will be deleted. That's what we've done so far for every other character. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:47, 2 January 2009 (EST)
- Ah. So after Spoiler:Luke appears for the first time, we replace the article with a redirect, so what happens if we find out that he will die after this? It goes on the main spoiler page? -- Tristan0709 talk 22:55, 2 January 2009 (EST)
- Yeah. At this point what we do is if we have any spoilers about existing characters, we put them on Spoiler:Heroes. After Luke appears, if we find out he's going to die, we add that to Spoiler:Heroes. Same thing if we found out that Nathan was going to die (again) or any other character who has already appeared. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:59, 2 January 2009 (EST)

- I'd certainly think so. Think this has been forgotten about. -- Tristan0709 talk 00:20, 4 April 2009 (EDT)
