Talk:Arthur Dowland

  • We've deleted dedicated articles like this in the past when there is no actual information on a character. Is there anything different about this one where it should stay? (Admin 13:42, 15 May 2008 (EDT))
    • Is it even accurate? I don't see "Arthur Dowland" on the List. If we have a page that just gives all the names on the list, then I think that should be enough. Save a full article for when the character actually shows up in an episode or graphic novel. --Ted C 13:50, 15 May 2008 (EDT)
      • Arthur Dowland's on the Map, not the List, and so assuming want to keep the reference, "Arthur Dowland" should either redirect to "interactive map" or List of evolved humans#Arthur Dowland where his name is already referenced.--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:52, 15 May 2008 (EDT)
      • Note: the #Arthur Dowland anchor link works now cause I added hidden span tags inside the table using Template:Evolved.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:16, 15 May 2008 (EDT)
        • I agree with MV: redirect is the way to go. Not only is this article cruft, it's flat out incorrect. He's not on the list. He has no character history outside of Heroes Evolutions, and then only on the map. And fan theories don't belong on the mainspace article. Delete and redirect; move fan theories to a theories page, either Theory:Arthur Dowland or Theory:Evolved humans.--Hardvice (talk) 15:16, 15 May 2008 (EDT)
        • delete! --SacValleyDweller (talk) 19:04, 15 May 2008 (EDT)
        • Redirect. --DocM 20:36, 15 May 2008 (EDT)
          • I'll redirect it for now, based on the fact that we've deleted similar articles in the past. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:35, 15 May 2008 (EDT)
            • Since we've learned more information about Arthur, I restored the article...but I removed the mistakes and the theories. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:57, 16 January 2010 (EST)
