Double Check Link

--Someone else check the last link in the preview clip section called: Dale sneak-peak teaser When I try to load it, it does about 2 seconds, and stops...if no one else can load the entire thing, we should either look for a different one to show, or delte the bad link....Man I am getting excited about the next 3 episodes....they are gonna be awesome (unless they kill HRG). What a great show it has turned into!!! HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 20:37, 10 February 2005 (EST)

  • It plays all the way through for me. (Of course, there's not much to it, since it's a promo for a promo.)--Hardvice (talk) 18:00, 10 February 2007 (EST)
    • Although if anyone does have another link, we should change it anyway because YouTube sucks.--Hardvice (talk) 18:02, 10 February 2007 (EST)
    • It works for me, too, even if it's a bit quiet. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:39, 10 February 2007 (EST)

Template:Videosplain

I added Template:Videosplain for links to currently available online videos. Should we convert the rest of this page to formatted templates? I think it would make it cleaner and easier to read.--Hardvice (talk) 17:20, 2 February 2007 (EST)

  • I added a sample of a main page-style Links page at Links.--Hardvice (talk) 17:44, 2 February 2007 (EST)
    • It looks good, but needs edit links. -Level 17:59, 2 February 2007 (EST)
      • Heh. I had just started adding them when you said that. General Manager's Training Academy.--Hardvice (talk) 18:14, 2 February 2007 (EST)
        • I'm lolling. The test page is looking great. The conversion will be an improvement. Well done. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:23, 2 February 2007 (EST)
          • I liked it so much I went ahead and moved it over. :) We can always revert, after all. That said, Links isn't the most visible page on here. I think it's only linked from the main page. If we're going to go to the trouble of having honest-to-goodness, constantly-in-need-of-maintenance content on there, like video links, I wonder if we shouldn't maybe add it to the sidebar. Any other thoughts on how to pimp this page out?--Hardvice (talk) 18:31, 2 February 2007 (EST)
          • Yes, very nicely done! Definitely a much better presentation and fits in with the theme nicely. (Admin 18:31, 2 February 2007 (EST))
            • Hmm, I think you've gotten just about everything and a bag of chips on the page. If you want to go for overload, links to the GNs or links to the Easter Eggs come to mind, but I wouldn't put them on, personally speaking. I think it's beautiful. (I'm wiping a single tear from my eye.) And I totally agree a link on the sidebar would be the perfect spot. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:58, 2 February 2007 (EST)
  • Is it too much to try to collect links to Heroes-related interviews? Maybe not anything that would make a claim of being exhaustive, but something that gives us one-stop shopping for the significant ones, or maybe even just those interviews that are mentioned somewhere on heroswiki?--E rowe 19:06, 2 February 2007 (EST)
    • Ooh, that's a big job. But defintely worth it. And they would be a good addition to the page. Yeah, go for it (Ryan says with an impish grin). — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:21, 2 February 2007 (EST)
    • I agree, that would be slick. A layout like the videos would make maintenance a bit easier. I'll see what I can put together.--Hardvice (talk) 20:55, 2 February 2007 (EST)
    • OK, I got it set up and added to the page. I added the links for interview series (CBR, 9th Wonders, Wizard), but it could still use some more links.--Hardvice (talk) 22:03, 2 February 2007 (EST)
      • OK, I did a search for "interview" and added all the ones currently listed on pages here (except for a few which were, like, three sentences long).--Hardvice (talk) 23:54, 2 February 2007 (EST)
  • Ok, I found it now. This is really great! Domo arigato gozaimashita! --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 20:37, 02 January 2005 (EST)

New Layout

Wow, this is really one of the most decked-out, slickest, gosh-darn coolest links pages I've ever seen. My hat is off and I'm gushing. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:22, 2 February 2007 (EST)

I found an Official International Online Episode Host in Canada

As you may know that if you are not in the US the NBC Online Episodes, the PrimatechPaper.com content, and some of the other online content is "jammed". Well I found one of the Canadian Broadcasters, [Global], is carrying it on their website. I can't say who all can view this one, but the screen size is a smaller than NBC's, and looking for those fine hidden details might be out, but you can at least watch it at pretty good quality.

The website is [here]. I would add the link, which is just for the last episode, although supposedly there is a negotiation for the back episodes (rumour). I would add it, but I don't want to much the pretty layout up and I don't know enough WikiMedia editing to just dive in yet.

Also could the members of the community in other countries than Canada please test it out to see if you can use it. --WolvenSpectre 06:41, 4 February 2007 (EST)

  • I tried it from a Swedish IP: "Sorry, this content is limited to Canadian viewers." -- Cuardin 07:32, 4 February 2007 (EST)
    • too bad... oh well. di you have a link for your fellow Swedes??--WolvenSpectre 09:42, 4 February 2007 (EST)
      • Well, Canal+ s beginnin to sed this week. So far their site is pretty bland. Maybe things get better once the series starts, but I doubt it. -- Cuardin 11:04, 4 February 2007 (EST)

Can you help me out

I am looking for links to the original promos from season one. I am looking for the one with just the eclipse, and voice overs from the characters. Random guy 18:58, 9 November 2007 (EST)

  • So I take it no one knows how to get these? Random guy 18:58, 9 November 2007 (EST)

Featured Sites

Should we add the fanstuff wiki, since it's a sister wiki? Raiku 11:57, 10 December 2008 (EST)

  • Sister wiki, or competing wiki? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:58, 10 December 2008 (EST)
    • Sister Wiki. It's a fanstuff wiki where you make fanstuff. All adminstrators from here who join are adminstrators there too. Raiku 13:00, 10 December 2008 (EST)
    • So, what do you say? Raiku 20:16, 10 December 2008 (EST)
      • Ah, okay, I see what it is. At first I thought it was another wiki about Heroes, like this one on Wikia. As a side note, I don't even mind "competing" sites on our list of links--if we're going to be comprehensive, we should be comprehensive. But putting a competing site in the featured sites section (which also gets transcluded on the main page) doesn't make much sense to me. But back to the topic at hand--I don't mind a link to the fanstuff wiki in the features sites section at all. However, that's kind of Admin's area, and out of respect, that's one of the few places on the wiki I don't like to touch too much. Plus, Admin knows better where Heroes Wiki's visitors are coming from, and that's something to factor in. Personally, I'd like to see sites like The ODI and Heroes Clues on there, but there's certainly room for the fanstuff wiki. Ultimately, I would ask Admin. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:31, 10 December 2008 (EST)
        • I've also asked about adding 9th Wonders to Featured Sites too on the Community Portal, but I'm not sure if Admin hasn't noticed or he is still working on something with NBC such that he doesn't want to comment about that.--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:25, 10 December 2008 (EST)

Update

Not sure how to update this, but you might want to change the preview links (from Villains), and remove 3 Heroes now that they have shut down. -- Tristan0709 talk 04:02, 12 January 2009 (EST)

  • 3 Heroes's podcast website is still up, so leaving the site linked. I did update the preview links to the Fugitives videos, though. Thanks for the suggestions!--MiamiVolts (talk) 06:01, 12 January 2009 (EST)

Media bar

I opened for discussion adding a media bar to the links and main pages in the community portal.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:32, 3 May 2009 (EDT)

  • I added the media bar per discussion. The word "in" in the titles has been changed to lowercase to be consistent.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:33, 6 May 2009 (EDT)

FanSites Brazil

I am here to talk about the FanSite 9thWonders.net, it is down, the leader's of this 're off . Don't are more heroes fans --'. I remove the link ;) sorry, my english is poor =P Gabrielense 11:49, 22 May 2009 (EDT)

  • According to the orkut community, the site is down but it's not something permanent as far as I can see, will try finding out more. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 15:23, 22 May 2009 (EDT)

No idea!?

No idea where to place, but i made a off-site for heroes, with all sorts of media content related to Heroes. Don't know if it will be mentioned somewhere on this wiki? All links in my wiki, come back to Heroeswiki.com, so it's not another fansite, only for media content -- (WaterRatj) 07:59, 23 October 2009 (EDT)
