Linderman?
First Christopher Eccleston now Malcolm McDowell? Glee! This show's casting just gets better and better (which I think is a necessity to make up for them casting the awful Ali Larter). --ZyberGoat 23:51, 31 January 2007 (EST)
- Aww. I have a soft spot for Ali from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.--Hardvice (talk) 23:55, 31 January 2007 (EST)
- Personally, I think Ali Larter is a fantastic actor with lots of interesting nuances to her character(s). I just don't like the Niki/Jessica storyline, never have. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:27, 1 February 2007 (EST)
- Agreed. I'm not a huge fan of her (hated her in JaSBSB, myself), but putting her into an unsympathetic, annoying character probably isn't helping my fondness for her. When spoilers hit that a female character is dying, I hate to admit that I was crossing my fingers for it to be her. --ZyberGoat 00:32, 1 February 2007 (EST)

- The latest "Ask Ausiello" (linked in Spoilers) also mentions that McDowell will play Linderman. Based on the previews from last week, I would say that's 75% possible. Bkdelong 09:02, 28 February 2007 (EST)
Austin/Linderman
- The Austin/Linderman shot is pretty cool, but it's also speculation. It belongs on a theories page, not the actor's article.--Hardvice (talk) 14:34, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
- The picture of Malcolm McDowell from 1971 wasn't speculative...it really was him. The picture of Austin from the last GN isn't speculative, it really was Austin, and the two pictures side-by-side really do resemble each other. Notice that neither the picture, nor the accompanying caption stated 'they were the same person'....(which would be speculative)...just that those two pictures resembled each other quite closely. I just don't see the urgency to remove the pic. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 03/27/2007 17:01 (EST)
- Right. But implied speculation is still speculation. And if it's not speculating that Linderman is Austin, then it's irrelevant who he looks like. We could add pictures to Ali Larter saying she looks like Tori Spelling, but it would be irrelevant. The only way the likeness is relevant is if you're implying a connection.--Hardvice (talk) 17:05, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
- Since you put it that way, I see your point. I'll put it on the Theories page. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 03/27/2007 17:21 (EST)

I Spy mistake
The first reference image of Malcolm McDowell is from if.... and not I Spy. The first movie was made in 1968 with a young McDowell, but the second one was made in 1992, with a very much older McDowell (white hair already, and so on). Here is a proof here with another pic from if...., where McDowell isn't wearing his jacket but still has the same tie and shirt. And now, here is another image from I Spy (with Eddie Murphy). See the difference... --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 06:07, 23 April 2015 (EDT)
- Okay, thanks. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:14, 24 April 2015 (EDT)
