This template is unnecessary and it doesn't match Heroes Wiki's standards for navbars. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:45, 8 October 2008 (EDT)
- I have to disagree. I think this template links together all of the articles related to Primatech Research which is what navigation templates should be doing. If there was only one other article I would agree with you. As for not following a standarad, I don't see that we have a standarad with templates as far as layout is concerned. I don't have a problem with this template. --Pinkkeith 16:15, 9 October 2008 (EDT)
- I kinda like it, and it *does* have a nice purpose. And as long as Template:Sylar and Template:Linderman, both of which also doesn't mach Heroes Wiki's standards for navbars, exist, I don't see why this one can't... Pierre 16:25, 9 October 2008 (EDT)
- It assumes that Level 1 is Primatech Research and vice versa. Does the level refer to the story the cells are on, or does it refer to the level of security employed in the cells? Ultimately, we have learned of exactly two levels: 2 and 5. That's really all that should be on here. Perhaps those are the only ones that exist. As for matching Heroes Wiki's standards, navbars should be horizontal, not vertical. It's also unnecessarily wide and does not have the correct bottom. But those issues are easily fixed. I take issue more with the purpose of a navbar which really only links two articles together. I'd rather see the two levels on the education and research places navbar. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:00, 9 October 2008 (EDT)
- Lloyd Collins was being held in a Level 1 cell until he was recruited to the Kill Squad (as told in The Kill Squad, Part 3), so we know that exist as well. We can't delete or change this template if we don't have a consensus for doing so. I strongly vote for a keep. 20:52, 9 October 2008 (EDT)
- Lewis was supposed to be moved to a level 3 cell before he escaped, so we definitely know that levels 1, 2, 3 and 5 exist. I liked this template, but it will need some work.--Referos 21:10, 9 October 2008 (EDT)
- Yes, it does need some work. However, I am still not understanding what's wrong with including the two links that are here on the education and research places navbar as we normally do. I'm also still not understanding why the template is vertical instead of horizontal. It creates a horrible amount of whitespace on the page and is an eyesore. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:24, 9 October 2008 (EDT)

- I do have to agree that the layout isn't to my tastes, but its not so bad that I would like to see it changed. I also do agree that level 1 shouldn't be a redirect. Also, I do think that the levels are floor levels. Noah does call Level 5 the dungeons suggesting that it is deep underground. --Pinkkeith 09:46, 10 October 2008 (EDT)
- I think so too, but we're not sure of that. During the Countdown to the Premiere, Zachary Quinto talked about the lower numbered levels being for bad guys, but higher numbered levels being for even worse guys. My personal thought is that the levels are physical stories, but it's certainly reasonable that they are security levels. In any case, that's the least of this template's problems. I just don't understand why we need a template that links two pages when the education/research template we've always used would do just fine. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:23, 10 October 2008 (EDT)
- What level did Zach say Sylar was on before? And he have had 1, 2, 3 and 5 so really that's quite a lot. I created this template as we are seeing a lot of the prisson cells lately and this links them all together. --Skywalkerrbf 16:52, 10 October 2008 (EDT)
- Zachary Quinto said Sylar was in a Level 2 facility, but that was not at Primatech Research, it was a Primatech Paper Co. We don't have articles for Level 1 or Level 3, and even if we did, I don't understand why we wouldn't put them together with the other prison cells on template:education as we've always done. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:06, 10 October 2008 (EDT)

- Since the content of this navbar is already in Template:Education, I agree we don't need this anymore.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:35, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
- The new template is much more in line with how our other templates look. It also has enough content that it can probably be supported as its own template. We would need to update the portals, though, so we have a subportal that matches. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:59, 24 October 2008 (EDT)
- Shouldn't this be deleted now? --posted by Laughingdevilboy

- I'd like to see it deleted. I'd rather move all this information to the navbar we normally use. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:35, 4 September 2009 (EDT)
