Just an Interpretation...

What if "getting from point A to B" is less in a physical sense and more in a political or goal-oriented sense... She seems to be able to impose her own will quite often... Just a fleeting thought... Random guy 14:13, 24 October 2007 (EDT)

  • I was wondering if its in reflextion to a thought process, such as being able to work out the outcome of every action that is taken. This could explain the speech Liderman has, where he put together the lives of Niki and D.L to produce the outcome of their son. Perhaps She has the ability to see the result of every action. She forsaw the outcome with talks with charles on the exploding bomb. She decided to turn herself into the police as she concluded it would provide a better outcome for her? just a guess on what her power may be. Helios Castella 17:11, 03 November 2007 (GMT)
    • Is there any worth to the idea that she may be able to super-impose images into other people's minds? The worth of the bomb into Nathan's mind in season 1, pumping Peter's head full of her own memories of him in season 2? And perhaps this 'enhanced perspective' also allows her to see into the future, present and into the past?--Aldrius 20:29, 6 November 2007 (EST)

Angela confirmed to have a power?

I don't know, I think it has been confirmed that Angela is an Evolved Human, both in primary and secondary sources. Why then, have we not archived this particular theory? Random guy 17:11, 3 November 2007 (EDT)

  • Cause it's a spoiler and it's not been shown in the show? Plus, it hasn't been confirmed what her power is. The only source has been a vaguely-worded spoiler from TV Guide.--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:15, 3 November 2007 (EDT)
    • Disagree, she clearly tells Matt Parkman that "they will find out about us." Yes her power hasn't been confirmed, but the fact that she is an evolved human, most definitely is confirmed. right? And Christine Rose, in and interview, as well as other interviews have confirmed that her power will be displayed. Random guy 17:25, 3 November 2007 (EDT)
      • Ah, I've seen some of Rose's interviews, but I didn't catch that. As for what Angela tells Matt Parkman, that only confirms Angela knows about Matt's power, and that doesn't necessarily confirm her own. I do think Angela has at least one power, but I don't think it's been confirmed in the show just yet.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:12, 3 November 2007 (EDT)
        • Shouldn't this line confirm that she has a power "I like to think we all met up at Woodstock in the '60s and it was there that we found out about our powers." Notice she says "our" and not their powers. Random guy 23:27, 13 November 2007 (EST)
          • Outside sources shed light and help clarify things, but they do not confirm major plot points which have not yet been revealed (like the possession of a power). On the show, Angela has danced around the issue quite a bit, but never revealed it. Sure, the "they'll find out about us" and "so you're like me?" lines point strong fingers, but never confirm anything. To be honest, even if Angela outright says, "Yes, I have a power," I'm still not sure that would definitely confirm it to me since she has a pretty long history of lying and manipulating. But that's not the case--the fact is, she is a human until proven evolved. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:35, 13 November 2007 (EST)

It was stated by Jeph Loeb and Jesse Alexander during a December 2007 Word Ballon podcast, that viewers have seen Angela Petrelli's powers used on the show, not by Angela but by Peter. I think it could be astral projection, when he was sleeping he visited charles before he died, he didnt mean to use this power but insitivly did Axel132 13:03, January 19, 2008

Name for her power

I think we should call it Suggestion and not Persuasion (like Eden) in the theory--Anthony Gooch 16:49, 13 November 2007 (EST)

  • I agree with this, as it seems like Eden's power was more like a command given, where as Angela Petrelli's is more like a hypnotic suggestion. Furthermore it is distinguished because it either requires or is augmented by physical contact between the two subjects.
  • Additional speculation that I'd like to add is how on several occasions Angela told Nathan to go sober up. It could be that her ability of hypnotic suggestions does not work when the subject is intoxicated. All Purely speculative of course. Svladcjelli 00:08, 14 November 2007 (EST)
    • Just a reminder that Angela is not a confirmed evolved human, and she has not demonstrated any clear power. Any names we assign to a theoretical power she might have would be purely speculative. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:11, 14 November 2007 (EST)

Arent being an empathy and have empathic mimicry the same thing?....if it is why is it in 2 different theories...if it's not, then why not?--Anthony Gooch 07:29, 13 December 2007 (EST)

  • It would probably help if the theory creator explained or gave a link to something explaining what exactly Empathy is, if it isn't Empathic Mimicry. After all, I can be rather empathetic from time to time, but I don't consider myself an evolved human. -- Lulu .:talk:. 17:40, 17 December 2007 (EST)
    • That's funny. I consider myself an evolved human, but I'm not at all empathetic. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:28, 17 December 2007 (EST)
      • really though....i mean, having a theory that says "Angela maybe empathic" and having another theory that says "Angela may have empathic mimicry" is kinda redundant don't you think?--Anthony Gooch 19:07, 17 December 2007 (EST)

angelas power is Pyrokinesis ?

Im suprised I havent seen this theory before (but I might be overlooking something that makes it obviously impossible.) but wouldn't it be possible that angela's power is pyrokinesis ? because : 1. It is said her power has been seen in the series, not used by her but by peter : - in the future peter uses pyrokinesis but it is not necessarily trough claire's mother he got this power (in fact there is little to no reason to believe he even met the woman.) - Many people focus mainly on angela's actions when analysing what power she has, but it all depends how literal the hint has to be taken, it can just as well mean that we have not seen angela petrelli use her powers (considering the persuasion thing, she might just be convincing trough natural charm.) - persuasion is never used by peter

2. In an interview it was said her power is quite destructive - this basically rules out all dream theory powers actually, altough persuasion can be destructive. pyrokinesis however is among the most destructive powers someone can have.

some simple theory (but I dont know how to properly edit the theories page.) but I havent seen it suggested before.

  • I haven't heard that interview in which she says her power is destructive

Here's something you will find interesting though that proves it isnt pyro. Angela's ability is yet to be determined, but it has been confirmed that she has one. In the 10th Wonders Podcast on 2/23/08, Heroes writers Aron Coleite and Joe Pokaski said, "You guys have all the raw materials to understand what Angela's ability is." They also said, "All the answers [to figuring it out] are in the pilot." Go to the Theory:Angela Petrelli page for theories regarding her ability. To review a synopsis of the pilot go to Episode:Genesis.

can we finally delete em?

its official, even she said it, i think its time to remove all the diproven power theories seeing as how she claimed "You [Peter] got you first power to dream the future from me."--Anthony Gooch 17:36, 23 September 2008 (EDT)

Can we also deleted the "she has intuitive aptitude, she might have more than one ability"? I don't know how it's not been deleted yet. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 10:02, 30 December 2008 (EST)

Multiple powers theories

Can we please just take down every theory which involves that? All of them seek support in persuasion, using the touch Heidi scene and the talk Arthur into freeing her scene as evidence, when the whole persuasion thing has been proved to be an improv by Cristine Rose. Can we please get rid of these theories and erase them as soon as they come up in the future? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 14:23, 20 January 2009 (EST)

Angela has had sexual relations with all older characters, and is the mother of all younger characters

I really think we could merge half of the theories listed here into the heading above. Honestly, she may have cheated on Arthur once. Why do people repeatedly suggest other people (boys AND girls) that she may have hooked up with? And why do they always end in a pregnancy?--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 16:52, 25 January 2010 (EST)
