Azrael is an evolved human that had worked as an assassin for The Company.
Character History
When Azriel was born, his birth parents had him left him on the doorsteps of St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York, and he was therefore raised by the church. The young baby was nameless but they eventually named him Azriel, after settling upon it. During his youth, Azriel discovered he had great eyesight and had pin-point accuracy for almost anything. This had came from his parents who knew that their son was an evolved human, capable of being implanted with other abilities of other evolved humans.
After The Company found him one day, they offered something Azriel couldn't refuse: a job working for them as a hitman of sorts. He accepted the offer and was even given new abilities as well, being injected with a lot of them after joining. He would also start training how to use them in battle. Azriel began performing different jobs for them over the years, often killing people for the Company or in some cases bagging and tagging as well.
However sometime in 2007, a man with horn-rimmed glasses had located him and told him the truth about the Company, exposing of their crimes and how they were using him as their weapon of mass destruction. Azriel was left two choices: continue working for the Company or expose them for their crimes.
He choice to continue in working for his company until their headquarters was burned down and he disappeared off the radar, even after a team of highly trained men working for the government went to catch him and failed to lock him up in a special building under a senator's orders on locking up people like Azriel.
Evolved Human Abilities
Azrael's ability allows himself to possess various abilities from other evolved humans after being implanted with them by The Company. His DNA allows him to absorb powers, but only if he could be injected with them. After the Company implanted some powers for him, he able to use them and learnt to control his newfound powers.
Known Implanted Abilities
Because of his ability, Azrael had been implanted with abilities from the Company, using DNA taken from their Bag and Tag missions or often using cell mates from Level Five.
- Enhanced vision, taken from an unknown individual as it was the first power of his that was implanted in his body at a young age.
- Strength absorption, taken from an unknown individual.
- Telepathy, taken from Matt Parkman.
- Impenetrable skin, taken from Baron Samedi.
- Teleportation, taken from Rachel Mills.
Notes
- Azrael's ability is taken from the recent film version of Wade Wilson/Deadpool from X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
- This character of mine is quite old, used for a Heroes RPG on 9th Wonders, and is really connected towards Season 2, but I have changed it fit Season 3 as well.
