Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!
Fan Creations - Incidental Heroes
Hi, You guys have THE most amazing Heroes website! I apologize for leaving a couple of messages on the site - I know email , but I don't know wiki............sorry.
I'm a huge fan and thought you might want to know about a fan produced video show/parody on YouTube based on Heroes that I'm creating (4 episodes are up already). It's called Incidental Heroes ( http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=IncidentalHeroes ) and chronicles the experiences of Mackenzie who seems to be crossing between reality and the TV show. Mackenzie has the power to see dead people and dead people from the Heroes TV show in particular. Chandra visits her in the first episode and that's what starts her on her adventure.
Incidental Heroes has been picking up some steam with Heroe fans and has been mentioned in a bunch of entertainment blogs.
I thought you might like to know about it and that it would be a great addition to your Fan Creations section.
Thanks a lot!!! Mackenzie
- Hey, Mackenzie. I checked out a couple of the episodes, nice work. :) You're welcome to create an article for your show here, we can label it fan-fiction like the other articles. (Admin 18:06, 23 February 2007 (EST))
Nice work
- You and FrenchFlo are doing some nice work on the Incidental Heroes page. You're picking things up quickly for being new to wiki editing. Keep up the great work! (Admin 13:35, 24 February 2007 (EST))
- Thanks! I'm just copying stuff from other pages and modifying it until it looks right! I've done some html before, but never wiki. It's cool! I'm assuming there is a pretty complex syntax to it all. And again - Your site ROCKS!
- We're glad you enjoy it. :) Yes, the wiki is very powerful and flexible. The more editing you do the more you'll see just what it can do. HTML is great when you need specific control over presentation (and in some places we do incorporate HTML to make things just right), but in general with a wiki you're more concerned with content, so they give you some quick helpful tools for influencing the presentation (like * for bulleting and = creation sections) and then let you just focus on the content. If you're interested in documentation on some of the more common syntax, there's some good documentation here. There's also tons of great info in our help section. - Great I'll check it out. BTW - I added a link to IHeroes on the Fan Created Portal. Hope that's ok. Otherwise no one would find it. I'm also adding a link to my directors page on Youtube linking here. It may drive some traffic to you. Thanks again.

Signature
HI! Don't forget to sign using --~~~~ or clicking the button when you discuss on any talk page. It makes things clearer (not sure if this word exists btw...) --FrenchFlo(talk)(contribs) 14:16, 24 February 2007 (EST)
- I don't know what that means, but I'll try and figure it out! --Incidentalheroes 14:25, 24 February 2007 (EST) Mackenzie
- I got it now! --Incidentalheroes 14:26, 24 February 2007 (EST)
Updates
I'd love to see updates on the Incidental Heroes - and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Also: Mackenzie as a role should get a "Portrayed by" section. --MagisterForan 10:36, 19 May 2010 (EDT)
