** ''Lux Aeterna'' is the last part of the Latin [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Requiem ''Requiem Mass''] liturgical service for the Roman Catholic Church (classical composers, especially after Mozart's unfinished [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Requiem_%28Mozart%29 ''Requiem Mass in D Minor'']--by far the most famous, are known for being very fond of adapting this liturgy). ;) "Requiem" is simply Latin for "rest"/"repose". Of course, ''Requiem for My Brother'' can mean both 'Rest for My brother' and 'Funeral Liturgy/Death Mass for My Brother'. And low and behold, the Petrellis are Catholic. |

*Yes, but we can't change it, because it's exactly how it's written in the original GN. By the way, somebody had written before "Matt Parkman used used his powers" in the blurb of this page. --{{User:Janrodrigo/sig}} 13:55, 11 December 2009 (EST) |

Requiem
Was I the only one who remembered Requiem for a Dream and Lux Aeterna when seeing the title of this issue? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:35, 8 December 2009 (EST)
- Nope. Swm 12:53, 8 December 2009 (EST)
- Lux Aeterna is the last part of the Latin Requiem Mass liturgical service for the Roman Catholic Church (classical composers, especially after Mozart's unfinished Requiem Mass in D Minor--by far the most famous, are known for being very fond of adapting this liturgy). ;) "Requiem" is simply Latin for "rest"/"repose". Of course, Requiem for My Brother can mean both 'Rest for My brother' and 'Funeral Liturgy/Death Mass for My Brother'. And low and behold, the Petrellis are Catholic.
Grandma
I suppose this is the one Angela lied about having done pea soup, since Angela's mother died in Coyote Sands right? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:50, 8 December 2009 (EST)
- I presumed it was Arthur's mother. Since it was her that made the soup. --mc_hammark 12:52, 8 December 2009 (EST)
Do you think that's peter flying?
I think someone said over at Peter's talk page that Peter could now have Nathan's flight. And i'm tending to agree. I also think it will be permenant. If you think about it, sylar has the power to transfer powers (as stated by Noah in Villains), and he can do this by empathy (as stated by arthur) so presumably, Nathan could have given Peter his flight, and it could turn out to be like Draph and how he got his power. --mc_hammark 12:57, 8 December 2009 (EST)
- I think what Noah meant totally was : "Sylar can transfer one's power into his own DNA" more than "he can give powers to everyone" you know. I don't think it's Peter who is flying at the end because we can see a suit jacket (while Peter has his paramedic shirt). Thought I hope this power (and they showed the important scene of S1 finale) has been absorbed (permanently so he can take another one) by Peter. It would be a beautiful "gift" or "legacy" from Nathan... Would be too sad if that just disappeared for ever.--Kleith 13:03, 8 December 2009 (EST)
- I think that's supposed to be merley symbolic. And Peter is shown walking away on the roof at the same time. Could be Sylar. He does have Nathan's power, but I think its just symbolisim.--WarGrowlmon18 13:20, 8 December 2009 (EST)
ART!
FINALLY, some decent art! Its a shame it was wasted on a filler comic, but it was refreshing change of pace from that nonsense we've been getting. --Action Figure 00:17, 9 December 2009 (EST)
- Yeah, I love this kind of Art. Anyone know what type it is? --mc_hammark 11:46, 9 December 2009 (EST)
- I don't know, but DAMN, Peter is so bulky XD --Crazy-Mick
- Ha, he does look kind of chubby doesn't he. --mc_hammark 15:10, 10 December 2009 (EST)

Gramatical error
there's a gramatical error in the blurb, it says "Matt Parkman used to his powers", where it should read "Matt Parkman used his powers", just thought I'd point it out. --mc_hammark 11:17, 11 December 2009 (EST)
- Yes, but we can't change it, because it's exactly how it's written in the original GN. By the way, somebody had written before "Matt Parkman used used his powers" in the blurb of this page. -- Jan Rodrigo (talk) (contributions) 13:55, 11 December 2009 (EST)
