Why arn't articalls in time order?
I makes ones like this very hard to use. --Rbfskywalker 11:49, January 24, 2008
* Could you clarify? The information in the articles is presented in chronological order according to the episode airing. (Admin 13:10, 24 January 2008 (EST))
* Oftentimes, a graphic novel or episode will be set in a time that is difficult to determine. To avoid speculation with necessary placement, we write articles in the chronological order of release of the episodes/GNs, not chronological order of the events that happen. For a list of Heroes events in the chronological order that they happened, see the timeline. -- 15:20, 24 January 2008 (EST)
* Another reason to follow release-date order instead of chronological order is that it gives readers (some) control over spoilers. Someone who is watching season one can read only the season one histories; someone who is halfway through season two can read summaries up through the last episode they've seen, etc. A completely chronological history of a character reveals lots of slowly-revealed information early.--Hardvice (talk) 16:02, 27 January 2008 (EST)
** That's a great point, especially considering that some countries are still showing Season One episodes for the first time. -- 16:47, 27 January 2008 (EST)
* Ok but for people like bennet with lots of infomation in differnt time periods could we not make him a idividual timeline?
**I don't see the point. However, why don't you set something up in your user name (something like ) and we can take a look at it. However, realize that if we do that for Noah, we'd probably have to do it for all the main characters. Then we'd also have to do it for other major characters like Mr. Petrelli, Mr. Linderman, and Claude. Ugh. -- 11:10, 27 January 2008 (EST)

* Look on my page, I have rearranged the Mr Linderman page --Rbfskywalker 08:10, 15 March 2008 (EDT)
In Episode 11 "Fallout", when Mr. Bennett brought Claire to the jail to visit Peter Petrelli, Peter began a noticeable cough. Does Mr. Bennett have a sickness or is he ill? Is it one of his 'abilities'?

Images
It also seems in the same episode in a prior scene that Sylar had no powers in the Primatech facility. Later when Eden came to suggest suicide, Sylar had his powers. Did Sylar learn how to manipulate them or was he blocked by Mr. Bennett?
:Peter's cough: I believe as he's absorbing powers, he becomes more "ill" - but the details are still unknown, and it's all speculative. Feel free to add your theories here, though.
:Sylar's powers: There's been a lot of back-and-forth about Sylar's powers, but it's the same idea - we just don't know anything conclusive quite yet. I'm sure the Haitian has something to do with it. You can add your Sylar theories here, or your theories about Mr. Bennet here. :) - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 06:35, 7 December 2006 (EST)

Powers
In the comment for HRG under "Genesis" it says that he overheard HRG in his father's apartment in Midras. This is not correct. At the time he overheard the phone call between HRG and his boss, Mohinder was in his father's Manhattan apartment. Also, in the unaired version of the pilot, the portion of the scene where Mohinder overhears HRG was not included (it ends as Mohinder glanses at the map). From the original context it appeared to me that HRG may not have originally known about Chandra's research (but did know OF him) - lending more evidence that HRG was originally supposed to be a minor character.
If Noah did have an ability what would you give him, me i would give him the power to create light based constructs. Datnymonster 17:14, 1 March 2009 (EDT)
* I remember this being a little confusing to me, too, initially, but it was indeed Chandra's apartment in Madras where he overheard Mr. Bennet on the phone. He was talking to Nirand as he climbed up the stairs and then he enters the apartment. As he's looking around the apartment he ends up hearing Mr. Bennet and he rushes out. (Admin 09:59, 8 December 2006 (EST))
* I'd give him the ability to detect the abilities of others. Either that, or the ability to make really great waffles. -- 20:06, 1 March 2009 (EST)
**It absolutely was New York, I just watched it two minutes ago.
* Wouldn't Be funnny if he got INTUITIVE APTITUDE!! .... THEN!!! He Would Get The Hunger For Other Abilities!!! (KILLER!!!)
*** So did I. :) He first enters the apartment in Madras which is where he overhears Mr. Bennet. Later in the episode he goes to NY and the landlord lets him into Chandra's apartment there. He finds that apartment ransacked. It's there that he tells the landlord that he's going to rent the apartment and that he has a job as a taxi driver. (Admin 10:05, 8 December 2006 (EST))
** Like Lukas Bahn? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 11:37, 2 March 2009 (EST)
**** Ah, I see what's happened. The scenes are shifted. In the version I have here, we never see him at the apartment in Madras. It shows him talking to the landlord then going into Chandra's NYC apartment. The scene in the beginning ends with Mohinder talking to his father's friend int he street. - (Yoshie 10:11, 8 December 2006 (EST))
** I would have thought that his ability would have been Forcefield projection. It ties in with the "people get an ability that helps them in their day-to-day life" theory witch I like so much. Everything he does he does for Claire. --Isaac Mendez 12:50, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
*It's also curious how HRG was in New York to meet with Mohinder and then a very short time later he turns up in Texas (before the sun sets!) to be welcomed home by Claire. What sort of budget does this guy have to work with that he can travel like that?!
*Ya know what: when I saw him in .07 I thought he was telepathic. He was able to make Matt hear his thoughts, but doesn't Matt have to activly power up for that to work??? He was unconcious or asleep at the time.--WarGrowlmon18 22:36, 2 March 2009 (EST)
** When he appears in Mohinder's cab later, he makes the comment that he is going to fly out of JFK.
*If anything he is the most persepive(pays attention to his surroundings) and knowledgeable person in the series

Current Motives
Wireless, Part 1
Is it just me, or is anyone else shocked to see HRG kick Hana to the ground. She is clearly a trained fighter, from the way she took down her superior officer (moustached guy concerned about her "heart"). Perhaps HRG has super powers after all? Maybe the Haitian is hidden around the corner, and he has nullified Hana's super strength. - AverageMan
* I think HRG just caught her off guard. And her power isn't super-strength. It's Electronic Data Transception. - Heroe
**The graphic novels are considered "near-canon", I think mostly because they tend to slightly exaggerate the truth. I'm sure in reality (look at me, what am I talking about, "reality"??) they had an encounter and scuffle, but not as dynamic as in the GN. But who knows, right? - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:52, 5 January 2007 (EST)

You have to wonder about his current motives. He's working with Danko against Nathan, but he's also working with Angela on something too. I think he's trying to bring this whole operation down secretly like he tried to do with the Company. I've been suspisious of his motives since as far back as Trust and Blood. He let Peter go (I think Claire being there was just a convient excuse and possibly a ploy of the writters to throw us off the trail), didn't shoot him later, urged Peter and Matt to escape, even warning them about what was going to happen due to them not checking in, revealed the truth about Daphne, probably knowing that they'd try to rescue her, walked Matt out which I thought was going to somehow lead up to Matt's escape and I was right: Peter did rescue Matt, but Noah was likely to have known that that was going to happen and probably let go of him so it would be easier. Notice that he wasn't blinded by the flash-bang like everyone else (he was clearly looking at Peter's trail). Then he came alone and knowing full well Peter could read his mind didn't try to block him but instead telepathicaly warn him, probably saving his life as he moved and Danko just skimmed him with the bullet. It's all too coincidental: he's one of the good guys.--WarGrowlmon18 22:43, 2 March 2009 (EST)
When his name is revealed...
* Well, if you watched Cold Wars, it's clear HRG is on the right side. He always was. I love this character. James Bond in horn-rimmed glasses :)--Altes 13:40, 15 March 2009 (EDT)
** I wouldn't really count HRG as a "good guy". He protected his family, but did a lot of bad things too (letting Sylar kill Trevor is an example). He's probably still protecting his family, since Danko's operation is a serious threat to Claire.--Cro Magnon 14:43, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
*** That was when he was working for The Company and didn't really care.--WarGrowlmon18 00:18, 1 April 2009 (EDT)
Further proof he's a good guy: he had the perfect oportunity to capture Peter and Angela and they had no way to get away and instead he covered for them.--WarGrowlmon18 00:17, 1 April 2009 (EDT)

Separated from Sandra?
It'll suck. Not the name itself, but if we decide to go back and change every single Mr. Bennet to a Name, it'll blow. (Just something I thought of the other day.) -- 01:09, 9 January 2007 (EST)
What does that mean? Spoilers say that this may happen only in next episode, which hasn't aired yet. --Altes 11:16, 2 April 2009 (EDT)
: I don't think we'll find out his name this season. Just my opinion - I think they'll keep it "mysterious" for quite awhile (like "Not Henry" on Losts second season). But there's no need to go back and change his name - it's still Mr. Bennet, and even if we know his first name, he's still known as Mr. Bennet. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:29, 9 January 2007 (EST)
*He separated from her the moment he left his house, they're separated, but not divorced. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 20:49, 2 April 2009 (EDT)
:: Plus, we can fairly safely move him to "Lorenzo Bennet" or whatever and let the redirect do the work. Since it's unlikely to move again, there's little danger of double redirects, and most of the existing links will need to stay "Mr. Bennet" anyway, since they refer to episodes in which we didn't know he was called "Boutros Boutros-Bennet" or whatever.--Hardvice (talk) 02:33, 9 January 2007 (EST)
::: In the beginning of Distractions, Sylar holds up what appears to be Bennet's driver's license to the window. Perhaps a freeze frame will reveal his name? --Glue 06:25, 6 February 2007 (EST)
::::I checked it as I watched the episode the first time hoping it just might reveal his name. Alas, it only says "Bennet" for the name. Between the id and Sandra's comment about it being weird that everyone calls him Mr. Bennet I think the writers were enjoying messing with us. :) (Admin 06:36, 6 February 2007 (EST))
:::::I literally yelled out loud "DENIED!" when Sandra got cut off before she could say his first name. --Ted C 09:59, 6 February 2007 (EST)

Best tactician EVER
So, Noah was able to formulate a plan to take down Sylar that involved using Peter to take Sylar's power, using Peter to impersonate President Worf to distract Sylar long enough to sedate him, bring him to the suite and have Matt mentally reprogram him, from behind bars and without running it past Peter, yet Peter was somehow in on it. Give this man a medal, he deserves one. --Gibbeynator 10:50, 28 April 2009 (EDT)
* He came up with it after he got to the hotel and learned Peter was there. Then he came up with the mind wipe after he checked in on Angela and found Matt with her. That, or Angela and Peter came up with the different halves of the plan and Noah was just extra muscle. --Crazyaspie 11:00, 28 April 2009 (EDT)

Is the blog official? Because it makes a lot of radical assertions, and does not seem to be written in a very authentic style. ** Actually, Jack Coleman is either 6'2" or 6'3" (depending on whether Zachary Quinto is 6'1" or 6'2"--1.85 or 1.87), which is about 1.87 to 1.90 meters for Jack. Even taller. 1.80 is almost 5'11", which is not even close. 5'11" is just average. Jack is currently the tallest lead actor on the show. Him and Zachary pretty much dwarf everybody. Why arn't articalls in time order?

I makes ones like this very hard to use. --Rbfskywalker 11:49, January 24, 2008

  • Could you clarify? The information in the articles is presented in chronological order according to the episode airing. (Admin 13:10, 24 January 2008 (EST))
  • Oftentimes, a graphic novel or episode will be set in a time that is difficult to determine. To avoid speculation with necessary placement, we write articles in the chronological order of release of the episodes/GNs, not chronological order of the events that happen. For a list of Heroes events in the chronological order that they happened, see the timeline. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:20, 24 January 2008 (EST)
  • Another reason to follow release-date order instead of chronological order is that it gives readers (some) control over spoilers.
    • That's a great point, especially considering that some countries are still showing Season One episodes for the first time. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:47, 27 January 2008 (EST)
  • Ok but for people like bennet with lots of infomation in differnt time periods could we not make him a idividual timeline?
  • Look on my page, I have rearranged the Mr Linderman page --Rbfskywalker 08:10, 15 March 2008 (EDT)

Powers

If Noah did have an ability what would you give him, me i would give him the power to create light based constructs. Datnymonster 17:14, 1 March 2009 (EDT)

  • I'd give him the ability to detect the abilities of others. Either that, or the ability to make really great waffles. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:06, 1 March 2009 (EST)
  • Wouldn't Be funnny if he got INTUITIVE APTITUDE!! .... THEN!!! He Would Get The Hunger For Other Abilities!!! (KILLER!!!)
  • Ya know what: when I saw him in .07 I thought he was telepathic. He was able to make Matt hear his thoughts, but doesn't Matt have to activly power up for that to work??? He was unconcious or asleep at the time.--WarGrowlmon18 22:36, 2 March 2009 (EST)
  • If anything he is the most persepive(pays attention to his surroundings) and knowledgeable person in the series

Current Motives

  • Well, if you watched Cold Wars, it's clear HRG is on the right side. He always was. I love this character. James Bond in horn-rimmed glasses :)--Altes 13:40, 15 March 2009 (EDT)
    • I wouldn't really count HRG as a "good guy". He protected his family, but did a lot of bad things too (letting Sylar kill Trevor is an example). He's probably still protecting his family, since Danko's operation is a serious threat to Claire.--Cro Magnon 14:43, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
      • That was when he was working for The Company and didn't really care.--WarGrowlmon18 00:18, 1 April 2009 (EDT)

Further proof he's a good guy: he had the perfect oportunity to capture Peter and Angela and they had no way to get away and instead he covered for them.--WarGrowlmon18 00:17, 1 April 2009 (EDT)

Separated from Sandra?

What does that mean? Spoilers say that this may happen only in next episode, which hasn't aired yet. --Altes 11:16, 2 April 2009 (EDT)

  • He came up with it after he got to the hotel and learned Peter was there. Then he came up with the mind wipe after he checked in on Angela and found Matt with her. That, or Angela and Peter came up with the different halves of the plan and Noah was just extra muscle. --Crazyaspie 11:00, 28 April 2009 (EDT)

Is anyone else

quite disappointed that the new company is not really up and running yet. Given that it has been six weeks you would have thought that he would have started it up again. I can't wait for the next few episodes where he gets a new partner and the company storyline develops more. --mc_hammark 06:45, 13 October 2009 (EDT)

  • Didn't he mention in the first episode that he wasn't up to the task? It was when he was on the phone to Angela after leaving the sushi bar. Swm 06:22, 6 November 2009 (EST)
    • Well it's not as though he's went to find other work, so he must still be in for it. And if he really did, I think Angela would find someone else to do it. --mc_hammark 14:54, 6 November 2009 (EST)
