== Your attitude ==

Good day, IDoWhatMustBeDone. I've taken a look at your edits, and there's nothing wrong with them, especially for a new user like you. New users often make the mistake of moving pages without discussing it, so there's nothing to worry about there. What is worrying to the rest of us is your attitude here at the wiki -- you seem to think it's your own job to make the wiki better. It isn't. It's the community's. When the rest of the community approaches you about it, you tell them to stay out of your business, instead of trying to discuss the name for the ability. Unfortunately, these are simply not attitudes that members of the community should have when working together. You are free to continue to make edits, but be warned that your edits are under close scrutiny. Please change your attitude to a more friendly one, since a continually hostile user is not a user that we want to be actively editing. Thanks for understanding. --[[User:Radicell|Radicell]] 18:59, 29 November 2009 (EST)
*Also, major changes to pages are best discussed first on the article's discussion page. Since you do not run the wiki, if you blatantly try to "improve" the wiki with your grand ideas on everyone's behalf, your edits will be reverted. The wiki is run by every editor that makes contributions, so it's best to go over the changes with ''them'' -- by discussing it on the talk page. --[[User:Radicell|Radicell]] 03:12, 30 November 2009 (EST)

Welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Here are a few links to get you started:

  • If you are new to Heroes, you might want to start at the New User Portal.
  • If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style.
  • If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
  • Of course, if you have your own idea for a new article, that's great, too.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add --~~~~ or click the signature button.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.
    • Additionally, if you would like to add any fanmade content to the Wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:IDoWhatMustBeDone/ to the page title when you create the page.

Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Moving Pages

Please do not move pages with out discussing it with the community. No one has agreed on a name, so we leave it until we do. Thank you.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 13:58, 29 November 2009 (EST)

  • Then you have to suggest it. If it is already suggested leave a vote. Doing that without discussion is defined as vandalism here. And if you continue, you will be blocked. There are many abilities with out names. The way we get names is by agreeing on them. Believe me, if a Gordon's ability had a name that was agreed upon, it would have been moved.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 14:04, 29 November 2009 (EST)
    • Like I said, if you do, you'll be blocked.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 14:15, 29 November 2009 (EST)
