Claire and her birth mother are incorrectly presumed dead after a fire in an apartment building.
About
The Fix
The Haitian tells Claire that her birth mother died in a fire fourteen years ago. Zach and Claire go to a diner to research the event. While looking through the Odessa Register archives, they happen upon an article about the fire. The fire reportedly killed seven people in a Kermit apartment building, including Meredith Gordon and her eighteen-month-old daughter.
Distractions
At Meredith Gordon's home, Claire and her newfound mother incredulously discuss the fire that seemingly separated them. Claire offers that she was able to survive the fire, perhaps, through her unique ability to heal herself.
Company Man
After the fire, Mr. Bennet meets Kaito Nakamura on Charles Deveaux's rooftop. Kaito delivers an infant Claire to Mr. Bennet.
Graphic Novel:Hell's Angel
At 2 a.m., Claude enters Meredith's apartment and is knocked down by intense flames. Mr. Bennet enters and searches for the invisible man; he finds his partner as well as an young Claire. Mr. Bennet rescues the baby and firefighters put out the fire in the early morning.
