A darker, older version of Hiro Nakamura has traveled back in time to visit Peter Petrelli in the subway in New York, NY. Looking over Peter, Hiro comments that Peter looks different without his scar. No more information on size, shape or placement are given.
Five Years Gone
Five years into the future, Peter has a large, diagonal scar running from his right eye to his left cheek. It appears to be a deep cut.

- It is unclear how Peter can scar since he has absorbed Claire's spontaneous regeneration. Writers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite said about Peter's scar, "First, it is not a mistake, Peter can regenerate, but he still has the scar. Secondly, we'll show you how later on in the series. We promise."
