Clonazepam is a drug that The Company administers during "bag and tag" operations. In real life, the drug is primarily used to treat epilepsy, anxiety, and mania since it increases production of GABA, a neurotransmitory amino-acid which inhibits neuron activity. A known and common side-effect of high doses of the drug is anterograde amnesia, the inability to create memories for a period of time after the administration of the drug. It appears that The Company's use of the drug is primarily for this purpose.
