Thugs' Intent

  • Unless it was part of a setup. From what little we've seen, Ricky appears to care about Caitlin's welfare, so abusing her as a part of getting Peter to help with a big heist is a reach. But something is rotten in the state of Denmark Dublin where ever the pub is. It still smells like something more is up at the Wandering Rocks than a grab job gone bad.     • A setup seems possible -- although that begs the question about how much they know about Peter's abilities. Could they have known about phasing or enhanced strength? Otherwise, how could they assume he'd escape from his chair? Hmmm...--Hardvice (talk) 16:39, 5 October 2007 (EDT)
    • Stated differently, they'd almost HAVE to know about his ability to mimic phasing or super-strength to know that he'd escape. that begs the question, "Who is stupid enough to torture and beat someone capable of splintering the chair they're strapped to?" but this facet definitely belongs on Theory:Ricky, not here.--NissanVersaDootDoot 16:58, 5 October 2007 (EDT)

Caitlin as source of Electricity?

The note about Petrified Lightning should probably not conjecture Caitlin as the source of Peter's electricity exposure. As discussed in the talk about Petrified Lightning, we didn't see Peter meet Caitlin until after Lightning was witnessed in the shipping container in Four Months Later. Caitlin herself gives an interpretation in the graphic novel, "or she showed him his own power." -- FissionChips 12:55, 9 October 2007 (EDT)

Will as blood relation?

Is Will really a blood relation or was Ricky showing the tattoo and using the term "brother" as he did later in the episode when Peter was getting the tattoo and was told that he was part of the "family"? -- FissionChips 13:25, 9 October 2007 (EDT)
