***** I'm open to using other colors, but I'd like to keep the active teams being a different color. Do you have a suggestion other than all gray? Can you clarify what you want? Is it the colors themselves, or just that you don't like any color other than white/gray underneath the text? In that case we could limit the background to being just behind the images.--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 19:23, 13 June 2008 (EDT) |

Idea for this page
I like the idea for this page, especially in light of Chuck Kim's recent EW interview about the upcoming five-month story arc we will see in the graphic novels. However, I would call the page "Company partnerships". -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:24, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
- It does sound like a good idea; and I agree about "Company partnerships" as the theme's name. However, I still think it should be in the user's namespace until it's ready.--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:27, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
- Why not make it a stub? We have a ton of articles in the mainspace that are not complete. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:39, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
- I agree, stubify and everyone pitch in. :) ---SacValleyDweller (talk) 18:01, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
- Please don't delete this page I made it. I know it is not finished but is there realy enythinh missing?Do we have eny more info then is on it already? yer we need some pics and stuff and probs a template --Rbfskywalker 17:14, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
- Barring some surge of hatred from the community, I don't have any intention of deleting the page. And even in that case, I would just move it to the user namespace. It's a good idea for a page and is becoming increasingly more important to keep track of partnerships. I only wish I had thought of it first! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:02, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
- Why not make it a stub? We have a ton of articles in the mainspace that are not complete. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:39, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
- Change name to list of company field partnerships?--Rbfskywalker 16:07, 16 April 2008 (EDT)
Images
Enyone got eny pics of Mohinder and his partners? Thanks --Rbfskywalker 11:30, 16 April 2008 (EDT)
The two images of Noah and the Haitian are both after they ended their employment under the Company. Should we instead put in images of when they actually worked for the organization?--Paronine 18:09, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
Good point, done :) --Rbfskywalker 18:22, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
Sections
I don't think this page really needs a section for each episode--that's really what the article about the Company is for. I think it'd be neat to see this page broken into sections that list each partnership, and then have a short narrative about each partnership. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:04, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
- That makes even more sense. --DocM 21:05, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
Other partnerships
Other Company partnerships to consider adding: Noah Bennet and Candice Willmer, Kaito Nakamura and Victoria Pratt, Daniel Linderman and Arthur Petrelli, Noah Bennet and Eden McCain, Noah Bennet and Hana Gitelman, Hank and Lisa.--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:47, 16 April 2008 (EDT)
- I can se where uoi are comnig from:
I could go with as say part-time partners;
Noah Bennet and Eden McCain
But Icouldn't go for;
Hank and Lisa
sientists who pose as perents
Noah Bennet and Candice Willmer
Noah is not working for the company when they are toghter
Noah Bennet and Hana Gitelman
He is just training her
Daniel Linderman and Arthur Petrelli
Freinds, in nam, not in the company working togheter
Kaito Nakamura and Victoria Pratt
Nefo no, he is just her boss.
--Rbfskywalker 16:07, 16 April 2008 (EDT)
- I don't know if Hank and Lisa were partners, but they were definitely paired together; there's no evidence Lisa is a scientist. Noah and Candice definitely did work together--they went to talk to Isaac together, and Candice is actually Noah's last partner. I agree that the other groups were not partnerships. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:33, 16 April 2008 (EDT)
- Ivan and Noah were partners. It was kind of a threesome with Maarten, I guess. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:37, 16 April 2008 (EDT)
- I think they where just training him--Rbfskywalker 03:11, 17 April 2008 (EDT)
- Does training not count as a partnership? Who's to say that other partnerships weren't also "just training" partnerships? I would say that we should note the nature of the partnership in the description, but that it's not up to us to decide what constitutes a partnership and what doesn't. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:43, 17 April 2008 (EDT)
- I think they where just training him--Rbfskywalker 03:11, 17 April 2008 (EDT)
- What about The Haitian and Elle Bishop? Were they not partners before he got sick and high-tailed it outta there again?--Tim Thomason 23:11, 16 April 2008 (EDT)
- Let's see: the Haitian erased Elle's memory sometime around October 2006 (Elle's First Assignment), then the two pair up to go after Peter and Adam in March 2007 (Four Months Later...). Odd. But yes, they were definitely paired up on a mission. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:49, 16 April 2008 (EDT)
- They both have powers though :S--Rbfskywalker 03:11, 17 April 2008 (EDT)
- There's nothing that says that two people with powers can't be partners. It might not be the "usual" way of doing things at the Company, but if they're put together, I would think it doesn't matter who's evolved and who's not. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:43, 17 April 2008 (EDT)

Revamp
This article really needs to be reworked, especially since the majority of the graphic novels from now until the start of Season Three will focus on different partnerships. I have some ideas for what the direction of the page should look like, but I wanted to solicit the ideas of others before I say anything. What does everybody else think this page needs? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:55, 28 May 2008 (EDT)
- I am thinking of two additions:
- a horizontal TOC with links just to each partnership since the list is beginning to grow long.
- a template-style infobox for each partnership that would have entries for "image" (an image showing both partners), "timespan", "human", "evolved", and "ability".--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:51, 28 May 2008 (EDT)
- Yeah, that's pretty much what I was thinking. I think we need to lose the histories, much of the whitespace, and the tons and tons of pictures. This should be a list page, so info should be minimal. A picture is fine, but we don't need every instance of the partnership sharing a frame. KISS. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:31, 28 May 2008 (EDT)
- Actually, I would keep the histories ("mission listings" is what I would prefer to call them) and move them to an expandable table. Knowing who went on what mission is handy, imho. The table could even be moved to the bag and tag article for simplicity, but a link to the appropriate section should remain. However, I totally agree about removing the gallery for each partnership.--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:38, 28 May 2008 (EDT)
- No, I don't mind the list of missions. It's the narratives that bug me. Not every partnership has one--it's the three or four sentences that are right under the section headings. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:53, 28 May 2008 (EDT)
- The narratives are sometimes helpful for partnerships whose timespan is not totally known, but I agree they're not necessary.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:07, 28 May 2008 (EDT)

Speaking of Bag and tags and missions and such, ChrisYu has this going (though not up to date right now), which is kinda similar to this over at Lostpedia. Employing something like those might work here and/or on Bag and tag. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 02:56, 29 May 2008 (EDT)
- I really like that idea I must say, I think something like that (an updated version) would be great for this page, with maybe a link from the Bag and tag page to let people know that there is a list of bag and tags here. (Friskymuffin - (talk) 04:21, 29 May 2008 (EDT))
- Yeah, I think that layout is better than what we have right now. Of course, the colors would be changed and there are a few other minor changes that would need to be made so it matches Heroes Wiki's style, but I think a simple box of information/stats and a picture would suffice. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:03, 29 May 2008 (EDT)
Thompson, Jr. and Penny Logan
I think this partnership should be removed or at least clarified. They were on assignment together, but Elle was also with them, and who knows whom else was on that assignment. Also, the timespan is missing for it at the top of the page.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:07, 28 May 2008 (EDT)
- of course! and by the way... there is no "one of them" in that partnership either, i think each of them had their own partner --cookie 13:06, 3 June 2008 (EDT)
The page so far...
This page looks good. I like the single pic, and I think the pared down information is spot on. Does the TOC automatically update? Very cool. I'm not digging the colors at all. I know it's more boring, but I'd rather see wikitables, or something more along the lines of the look of list of abilities. The style of the boxes, though nice, don't match our style at Heroes Wiki. That's just my gut feeling. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:39, 12 June 2008 (EDT)
- I think I might be able to keep the colors as a background and format it like the list of abilities article. Would that be okay?--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:51, 12 June 2008 (EDT)
- Personally I prefer the gray...but if you get it working, let me know, and I'd love to take a look. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:40, 13 June 2008 (EDT)

Thompson, Penny, and Elle

Of course, for this unique partnership, we could always use this image! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:41, 13 June 2008 (EDT)
- Heh. Nice image merge, there, but I think it would be better to stick with actual images.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:45, 13 June 2008 (EDT)
