Dennis Calero is a comic book artist and colorist for Heroes.
About
Dennis Calero got his start with the comic book The Good Guys #9, but became more well known for his help with television tie-ins Sliders, Cisco Kid, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Star Trek: The Next Generation -- The Space Between, and Masters of Horror: Dreams in the Witch House. He was also a colorist for Magic: The Gathering, Cowboys & Aliens, X-Factor, DCU: Halloween, and Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes. He was a lead artist on Legion of Super-Heroes for DC Comics, and created the Marvel series X-Men: Noir.
Under the Atomic Paintbrush flag, Dennis helped with the Nighthawk, Harbinger: The Beginning, and Wolverine: Doom Bringer titles.
Trivia
- Teaming up with illustrator Kristin Sorra, Calero co-founded the company Atomic Paintbrush.
- Dennis Calero was nominated for the Harvey Award in the Best New Series category for X-Factor in 2006.
