*Also, the template automatically links to the power and city article if they exist, no need to put <nowiki>[[hyperlinks]]</nowiki> on them. Welcome to Heroes Wiki!
Here are a few links to get you started:
- If you are new to Heroes, you might want to start at the New User Portal.
- If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
- If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style.
- If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
- Of course, if you have your own idea for a new article, that's great, too.
- Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
- To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
- You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
- When posting on an article's Talk page you should add --~~~~ or click the signature button.
- This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
- Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
- When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
- If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
- You can also customize your user page if you like.
- Additionally, if you would like to add any fanmade content to the Wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:NileQT87/ to the page title when you create the page.
Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!
afd tag
Please stop removing the afd tag from the article about Carlsbad. It is there so others can discuss the proposed deletion. A conversation about the article does not take place in a span of time that is less than an hour. Removing the tag doesn't allow others to weigh in on the decision to keep or delete the article. Please do not remove it again until a resolution is reached in the discussion. Thank you. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:57, 26 September 2009 (EDT)
Coyote Sands
While a good theory, the "extra bits" don't confirm that Samuel was born there or that any of the Sullivans were ever there so I reverted your edit.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:26, 5 November 2009 (EST)
Quotes
You are editing the memorable quotes, which people have gone over many times. And because many user want to fix the quotes, it ends up being corrected, so there is no point in changing them. And the sentence was [something ...mostly.] There was ... there, making it lower case. And yes, some quotes aren't memorable, but others have decided to have them there, and know one has ever not agreed to remove them.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 10:51, 6 November 2009 (EST)
- People just put in quotes they like. "Agree" might be too strong of a word. And it still remains a grammar nightmare. There's two ways to do the "...mostly" or "Mostly." thing. Which was completely besides the point of the edit. It wasn't even important. The rest was. And 14 quotes was too many. It's a huge chunk of the page. 5 or 6 quotes is appropriate and even my edit took it down to more than that. NileQT87 10:54, 6 November 2009 (EST)
- Ok, 5 or 6 is fine. And yes, I always see users enter in a quote to have it taken out. That's why when everything is settled and no one feels the need to edit the section, we should just let be. That's why I am reverting your edits. If anything was wrong, believe me, somebody else would have fixed it. But no one has edited it for a while.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 10:58, 6 November 2009 (EST)
- 8 quotes is better than 14. And yes. The grammar as it currently stands is horrendous. People just haven't noticed, apparently. For one thing, it's loaded with visual instructions in parentheses, which looks sloppy. In fact, if you want to edit again, remove quotes, not add! NileQT87 11:01, 6 November 2009 (EST)
