**I would have to agree with Skywalker. From the graphic novels, it sounded like they'd been trying to capture the German for a while. |

Episode name?
Is the name of this episode 'The Butterfly Effect', or is it 'A Second Coming'. It said on the Spoilers part of the wiki that it was called 'A Second Coming' LilRebel616 06:09, 27 July 2008 (EDT)
- Seeing how the premier was named 'A Second Coming', I would presume that 'The Butterfly Effect' is the name of another episode in the season and not this one. -- Seclusion talk / contribs 08:27, 27 July 2008 (EDT)
- "The Second Coming" was the first hour and "The Butterfly Effect" was the second hour. They were two separate episodes aired back to back. MistyJo
Synopsis
- Is anyone working on or planning to write the synopsis for this episode? If not then I'll work on it, I just don't want to duplicate work if anyone else has started or plans to write it. (Admin 19:19, 23 September 2008 (EDT))
Nathan's hospital
The news ticker at the bottom of the screen reads "Petrelli rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital of Odessa." Hooray, the name of a hospital! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:37, 23 September 2008 (EDT)
Sylar's new power?
When Sylar is at Claire's house, he can suddenly light up a lamp and then broke it, and he somehow made the phone failed to work. It could be a really advanced form of TK, but I highly doubt it. Chrisyu357 00:21, 24 September 2008 (EDT)
- I disagree, I think TK could easily be the case. We know Sylar can turn things with it, thus turn a switch or flip one or whatever, the the phone he could of just torn something out. --PeterDawson 10:51, 25 September 2008 (EDT)
- i agree with peter, maybe he could just cut the phone cable... he has two hands after all! --cookie 13:35, 25 September 2008 (EDT)
- He probably used TK to unplug the phone and lamp. --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 13:36, 25 September 2008 (EDT)
- He also teleported. --DocM 13:39, 25 September 2008 (EDT)
- What did you see that looked like teleportation? (Admin 13:42, 25 September 2008 (EDT))
- Claire is walking backwards, and Sylar walks behind her to a counter, then when Claire looks he is nowhere to be seen. It specifically looks at where Sylar has gone - and he is not there. She is holding the knife at the time. It's more "implied teleportation" again. --DocM 13:45, 25 September 2008 (EDT)
- Or he could have turned invisible, used TK to levitate up to the ceiling, or a number of other possibilities. Teleportation seems neither an implied nor a definitive answer.--Paronine 13:48, 25 September 2008 (EDT)
- I believe in one of the season 2 episodes that never got fully completed prior to the strike Sylar had obtained "adaptive camouflage" which could be what they considered him to be using for that scene. We may find out later if he indeed does have it or whether it was scapped along with the episodes. Just a theory. (Admin 14:03, 25 September 2008 (EDT))
- I think Sylar was merely floating around using telekinesis. That's why it was hard to follow where he was. Claire knew that Sylar would be right behind her, and pretended not to know...Sylar really underestimated Claire there.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:17, 25 September 2008 (EDT)
- I agree with Miami because we have seen him use TK to throw himself high enough to catch a branch in Roadkill and he use TK to float so Dale would not hear him and some people think he used TK to slow his fall in Homecoming. SPARTAN-077 18:20, 25 September 2008 (EDT)

The Haitian
Yeah, I saw the actor's name in the credits but didn't notice the Haitian in either episode. So where was he in it? --Golden Monkey 16:14, 24 September 2008 (EDT)

Mohinder's monologue
I'm glad it is back, even if they did move it to the end of the episode. I've a documentation question about it in the synopsis, though. Should we have all those /'s (slashes) in that blurb? I think it would be easier to read if it were separated by lines instead, kind of like poetry. We haven't used slashes before, so I'm wondering if the reason for having them now is to mark the pauses or something else?--MiamiVolts (talk) 06:16, 26 September 2008 (EDT)
- Thanks, HiroMystery. It looks much better now.--MiamiVolts (talk) 06:00, 27 September 2008 (EDT)
- Your welcome. HiroMystery 06:03, 27 September 2008 (EDT)
Continuity Error with the German
When Sylar's looking through the box of Level 5 dossiers while Claire is hiding in the closet, one of the dossiers he pulls out is the German, but Noah was already being held and kept away from his home before the German was captured and locked up, so Noah's files at home shouldn't be so up-to-date. - Only3Penguins

Mohinder's power
"Mohinder grabs the gun from one of them and bends the barrel. He throws the other one off of him and he goes flying. Mohinder is aghast and looks at his hands. Above him, on a warehouse, is the same painting that Matt saw in the desert. "
That needs to be reworded. Did anyone else read that as Mohinder using the flight ability? --IDannPK 13:10, 28 September 2008 (EDT)
