  • I didn't realize that was flint. I thought the power the guy was using was freezing or something. This artist really wasn't that good . . .

    • I'm pretty sure it's Flint. The glowing eyes were probably just a reflection of his ignited hands. Also, Dennis Calero seemingly has a fetish for drawing glowing eyes. See this image from another comic illustrated by him. --Radicell 09:33, 12 May 2009 (EDT)
      • We know Flint from Villians but this spike protrusion guy never appeared in any Volume only in Graphic Novel so we dont know what he is like. Hopwas2007 09:43, 12 May 2009 (EDT)
        • Flint's like what he's like. My point was that, considering the artist, we could pretty much be sure that the glowing eyes weren't supposed to represent some other person. Also, the notion of the guy being Flint is backed up by the information from the previous GN that Flint was on Flight 195. --Radicell 09:45, 12 May 2009 (EDT)
          • Fair enough. When I first read this GN, I thought "Wow new character!" but only after read this discussion, I didnt realise it was Flint! Hence Iam confused. Hopwas2007 10:07, 12 May 2009 (EDT)
• I'm still trying to figure out what happens in the first three panels of the last page. Did the sniper pop Flint's head or did Sparrow just launch dirt in his face? Looks more brown than red to me, plus her eyes are glowing in the same panel... Revengeance 09:53, 12 May 2009 (EDT)
  • Agree, it's all quite confusing. The face looking into the sniper scope does not look like Flint at all, but it seems the most logical that Flint was sniped. --Radicell 09:57, 12 May 2009 (EDT)
    • I'm not even sure if that guy is a sniper... Sparrow clearly talks with him, so he's possibly one of the soldiers from the vehicle and is standing behind them, and Sparrow (the face in the reflection) is lying about helping them to trap Flint and Micah. Doesn't explain why a) he shoots Flint's head off instead, or b) Sparrow decides to blind Flint with dirt and somehow run past the guns. And what the heck is that Independence Day blob in the sky?!       • Your explanation sounds pretty good. The person looking into the sniper is likely Sparrow. And that sky thing looks kind of like an eclipse. --Radicell 10:14, 12 May 2009 (EDT)
        • I agree with Revengeance's explaination. However, about "Flint blinded with dirt", should We list Flint as "alive" instead of deceased? Oh boy it getting confusing now.. This GN must be rank as one of most confusing ever I read! Hopwas2007 10:25, 12 May 2009 (EDT)

            • I have my doubst about that guy being Flint. There is a resemblance but it has not been confirmed. It could have been any other evolved human on the plane
              • I'm pretty sure that was him, it fits. It looked like him, had the same power as him, we know he was on the plane from part 1 and the glowing eyes thing was likely either a reflection or dramatic effect.--WarGrowlmon18 11:44, 12 May 2009 (EDT)
