  Due to restrictions about shooting with minors at night, the team shot right up until midnight with Noah and Adair (Micah and Molly) and then sent them right off home to bed.

  The Feudal Japan scene was shot in the foothills north of Chatsworth, California. This location was chosen because of its similarity to the field scenes in the Kurosawa film "Ran." It was so windy during the shoot that all the tents blew away by 5 am.
