After waving goodbye to his girlfriend, a Company target heads back inside his house and receives a call from evsdropr, who warns him not to open the door. Just then, his girlfriend appears to have returned and knocks on the door. He asks her what she wants, saying he can hand it out to her. The girl tells him she wants him and he opens the door. He ends up knocked out by Penny, whose appearance was altered by Connie to look like the target's girlfriend.
Graphic Novel:Faces, Part 2
Thompson, Jr. races off to the kidnapped teleporter's home to confront the woman he thinks he slept with. He meets Penny, altered to resemble the other woman. To sort out the confusion of the two women, Connie changes Penny back to her normal appearance, and the Haitian erases the other woman's memories.
Notes
- In an interview, writer Mark Sable said that the teleporter and his girlfriend live together.
