Peter Petrelli took them to stay safe, however after realizing that he is in a jail cell, kept away from his family, he pretends to take them and uses his acquired power of phasing to escape from his cell. Niki Sanders took them for a little while, but poured them down the kitchen sink. Eventually her other self caught up with her.
