After doing an online search for Lumiere Ophthalmology, Noah Bennet finds that it has moved from Odessa, TX to Dallas.
Noah travels to Dallas and visits Lumiere Ophthalmology, where he finds René. They decide to meet across the street. René attempts to kill Noah, but after a struggle, Noah overpowers René and kills him on accident.
