Talk:Isaac Dead Series (painting)
So I was going to make this, but it wouldn't utilize the template that is made for these series (prophecy and realization). Sooo, can someone (Ryan or Hardvice or any of y'all if you have time) get a start of the format, I'll fill it with content. I need to distract myself from studying for a midterm.--Baldbobbo 22:57, 7 March 2007 (EST)
- Actually, this one's probably fine with a normal gallery. Since all of the paintings depict the same thing from slightly different angles, doing them like Prophecy would be kind of repetitive.--Hardvice (talk) 00:14, 8 March 2007 (EST)
- Agree. This should be a straight gallery. Homecoming Series used the template because they were meant to be laid out like a comic book. Invisibility Series uses the prophecy format -- I'm not quite sure why, but at least the paintings lend themselves to that format fine, even if it's a bit redundant. But for this series, we only have one prophecy, and lots of funny angles. Much better as a straight gallery. That way we can include Tim Sale's black and whites if we wanted. ... By the way, Tim Sale says that "there's one more in the series, but it's secret." Cool! — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 02:15, 8 March 2007 (EST)
Only 3 pictures seen?
Okay, I just noticed something. The first picture and the third picture are parts of the same picture. So it's really only a series of three pictures. Although there are two more we haven't seen, going by the black and whites.--Leshia 09:10, 31 March 2007 (EDT)
- There are five paintings total. Four are finished, one is still blank (though I'm sure it will become this spoiler pic). But you're right, the first and third pics in the gallery are the same. The last two are also the same. That means we only have a closeup of three pics--it's the eyeball pic that we haven't seen close up. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:14, 31 March 2007 (EDT)
- Wait, now I'm really confused. The last two pics in the gallery aren't any of the four. They're just the spoilery one with a certain someone cut out. The black and whites show the four paintings in his apartment, but then there's still another one that we've seen closeups of.--Leshia 10:27, 31 March 2007 (EDT)
