Please add.

Hi Leckie, I just made a theories page for my characters on Neighbourhood Life so could you please add a couple of theories. :) --Mr. muggles mike 13:08, 2 May 2010 (EDT)

Explanation

Knox's ability was not enhanced strength; it differs from enhanced strength in several vital ways. Enhanced strength is a passive ability; Knox's ability was active. Enhanced strength is always available; Knox could not use his ability without a nearby source of fear to utilize. Arguing that Knox possessed the same ability as Niki Sanders and Mohinder Suresh is like claiming that Ted Sprague actually had pyrokinesis just because his power could set objects on fire. Embracing a foolish choice made by the writers just because it was the writers that made it is completely illogical. It limits our ability to theorize, makes the site less intuitive to navigate, and sparks ridiculous arguments. --D and d 123 18:01 3 May 2010

  • His ability is enhanced strength, end of story. If the writers make a decision we do not second guess them, we merely go with what we're told. All we do here is chronicle the series, not make our own interpretations of it.--PJDEP - Talk - Polls and Opinions 15:15, 3 May 2010 (EDT)
    • What are theories if not interpretations of the show? By devising theories, introducing them, and debating them, we gain insight into new facets of the TV series we know and love. Without this element of free thinking, heroeswiki.com would be a rather boring place.

It is often said that once an artist's work has been placed in the public forum, it is no longer completely his: it now belongs in part to all the people who interact with it. --D and d 123 16:24, 3 May 2010 (EDT)

  • While that is a true statement, that simply isn't how it works *here*. (Sorry Leckie, I've moved this debate.)--PJDEP - Talk - Polls and Opinions 16:37, 3 May 2010 (EDT)
