Portal question

Hey Leckie, I have a quick question. On your upcoming fan fic, you have several portals at the bottom of the page like articles in the namespace do. How do you create those? I've also started to develop a fan fic and am starting to organize everything, and this particular piece is currently beyond my understanding.
