John Watkins-Chow draws an assortment of trading cards. These cards are meant to corresponded to the numbers of the tarot cards. In John's words:
For Card I, the Magician, I thought I'd try Isaac (what, with his magic wand paintbrush and all)--but restricted myself to a shot of him specifically from the first episode (Genesis).
Card II, the High Priestess, representing feminine potential and mystery, was an [attempt at an] episode 2 (Don't Look Back) shot of Claire.
Card III, the Empress, the other half of the feminine mystique with maternal overtones, was Niki from episode 3 (One Giant Leap).
Card IV, the Emperor, is all about authority and fathership, and I thought that HRG from Episode 4 (Collision) was a perfect fit.
Card V, the Hierophant, usually represents seeking understanding and identifying with a group, and Peter (amped up with Isaac's future sight in Episode 5 (Hiros) had resonance.
Card VI, the Lovers, aligned with Episode 6 (Better Halves), with DL's first major appearance and a serendipitous moment of affection between him and Niki. (Yeah, I lucked out on that match.)
Card VII, the Chariot, is about achieving victory and asserting one's ego, and fortunately Nathan's campaign was a plot point in Episode 7 (Nothing to Hide).
And yeah, I sorta cheated with card Zero, the Fool, one who goes on a journey, or more aptly, begins an adventure, using Hiro's "YATTA" pose from the first episode.
