This is why her ability is so lethal.

In the episode Kindred she used her power willing to kill the guards	+ She looked like was enjoying when she was using her power + The guilt over the death of so many people may cause her to go insane. + In fiction, is common to see a good twin and a evil twin. - Maya may have willing put the guards' lives in danger, but she didn't actually kill them. Alejandro was able to reverse the virus in time to prevent their deaths (they can be seen twitching just before Maya, Alejandro, and Derek flee from the police station). + Maya DOES however murder the Minutemen in The Line, as she drove off before Alejandro could reverse the virus. • She did this in a high-stress situation, with several men pointing guns at her, and only because she was manipulated into doing so by Sylar.
