There are other much more interesting characters who aren't brought back no matter what, so why would the writers bring back Maya? + } She might not be powerless... what if Arthur didn't actually take away her power, but just copied it from her, and let her think that she didn't have it. That could be interesting. Or what if she discovers another power? - The visual effects indicate Arthur stole Maya's ability. - Arthur had no reason to do such a thing. - It would be illogical to do so. - Evolved humans have only one natural ability.
