New Interview

Okay, this should be a good one. Duncan Rouleau and Steven T. Seagle (the writers of Golden Handshake) have agreed to an interview via email. I told them I'll send the questions by Monday, 8/27. Fire away! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:42, 22 August 2007 (EDT)

  • Just a reminder: I'm sending out these questions to the Mens first thing tomorrow morning. Get your questions in tonight! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:50, 26 August 2007 (EDT)
    • Got an ETA on the reply, Ryan? --SacValleyDweller 20:09, 28 August 2007 (EDT)
      • I sent them off yesterday. Steve emailed me and told me he received the questions and would get them done today, though I'll give him a few days. I haven't heard from Duncan today, but he was the first I heard from back when I contacted the guys, and he was very gung ho about the whole deal. I'm sure it'll be before the end of the week. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:21, 28 August 2007 (EDT)
        • You removed this interview from current events, but there's no interview posted yet... I guess they decided to take off early for Labor day, eh? I mean, is it correct to assume they haven't gotten back to you yet, either?--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:07, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
          • Right. As soon as they do, I'll post it. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:19, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
            • I just sent a friendly follow up email today. I'll let y'all know when I hear back from our boys. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:47, 10 September 2007 (EDT)

Interview Questions

  • First question - could you comment on the last scene between Noah Bennet and Claude Rains? Is there a specific reason why it goes against the canon shown in Company Man? --DocM 18:55, 22 August 2007 (EDT)
    • I'd rephrase that question: Could you comment on the last scene between Noah Bennet and Claude Rains? Can you confirm when that scene is supposed to take place? (How long was it between when Claude and Haram are in Paris and Claude walks into Primatech to deliver the report? Can we assume this is after the scene of Claude and Noah meeting for the first time in 'Company Man'?) Can you confirm that what is depicted about the accomplice's death is solely what is written in Claude's report? ie. Could Claude have made up the part of Haram killing her?--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:34, 22 August 2007 (EDT)
      • Yeah, I realised that my question was not the correct wording, but I couldn't figure out the right way to say it. Thanks for the rewording. --DocM 19:44, 22 August 2007 (EDT)
  • Can you confirm the medicine Haram swallows is a heart medication?--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:38, 22 August 2007 (EDT)
  • Do you both normally co-write comics as with Golden Handshake? How does that work? Would you rather have done seperate comics?--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:41, 22 August 2007 (EDT)
  • Do you prefer to write about stories about characters we already know(ex. Peter, Sylar), or characters we haven't really met(ex. Candice, The Haitian)?
    • Do you prefer to write stories in the future (ex. 'WALLS'), or stories in the past (ex. 'HELL'S ANGEL')? Which is harder to write?
      • Which comic are you most proud of? Which comic do you think is the worst you've made?--Patrick 16:28, 24 August 2007 (EDT)(the last three)
  • My questions regard the logistical aspects of the Golden Handshake series. Michael Gaydos penciled parts 1, 3, and 4, while Tom Grummett penciled part 2. Chris Sotomayor colored all but part 3, which was colored by Edgar Delgado. Were there any reasons for the change in artists/styles beyond time constraints? A more general question, do you, or any writer, at your firm or elsewhere, have any control over who does the art for your story? SacValleyDweller 17:14, 25 August 2007 (EDT)
  • Which character would you want to write for next? --DocM 17:15, 25 August 2007 (EDT)
  • Is the woman Rollo Fusor or is the guy Rollo? If the guy is Rollo, then is there a name for the woman? --DocM 18:20, 26 August 2007 (EDT)
