Bit of speculation... think Hope might be Faith? I found it to be an odd coincedence. --Riddler 19:19, 13 February 2007 (EST)
- I wouldn't be surprised to find out there's a connection. (If they introduce a Charity, I'm calling it quits). But currently they're listed as two different actresses.--Hardvice (talk) 19:36, 13 February 2007 (EST)
Man on the phone
- When I watched the episode originally it sounded like at one point she calls the man on the other end of the phone "Lou." Did anyone else hear this? (Admin 23:04, 14 February 2007 (EST))
- She says his name, but she's so hard to understand. I listened to it a couple times and heard "Leo" the first and "Leroy" the second, but it could just as easily be "Lou".--Hardvice (talk) 02:02, 15 February 2007 (EST)
- Maybe it was Leo that I heard. I cant remember, I'd have to re-check. Just something to keep in mind if we come across a Leo character soon. (Admin 12:40, 15 February 2007 (EST))

Unnamed
Hope is listed as being unnamed, and that we don't know her formal name. Is there any evidence of this, or is it just speculation. I agree, there's a really good chance Hope isn't her name, but as far as we know, it is. I mean, Claude would be a better candidate for "Unnamed Characters" than Hope, if you ask me. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:51, 15 February 2007 (EST)
- Don't we list anyone without a last name as "unnamed"?--Hardvice (talk) 09:22, 16 February 2007 (EST)
- No, it's anyone without a first name. (See Zach and Tina, compared with Mr. Petrelli and Miss Sakamoto.) I'll make the change now. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:22, 16 February 2007 (EST)
- Come to think of it, we should probably make the character infobox add the Category:Unnamed Characters (sorted, if possible) whenever anybody puts "Unknown" in the "Formal Name" variable. I'd do it myself, but I'd probably spend the next half hour trying to do what somebody more knowledgable can do in five minutes. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:29, 16 February 2007 (EST)
- That's no problem. I can take care of the template. Is there a reason we distinguish between first and last names for formal names? It just seems ... odd. I mean, it feels like we're closer to knowing Linderman's "formal name" than Zach's.--Hardvice (talk) 15:54, 16 February 2007 (EST)
- If it were up to me, I'd say anybody with any kind of name should not be unnamed. I think Category:Unnamed Characters should be reserved for people with descriptive names (Bus accident victim, Beat cop), not people whose first names are unknown.
- I am in favor of this as well. Undernamed is not the same as unnamed. Can you think of a good reason not to make this change?
- No, let me just go ahead and make the changes. I count 7 people who are partially named but listed as unnamed: Captain Baldwin, Mr. Bennet, Mr. Linderman, Mr. Ellis, Mr. Petrelli, Miss Sakamoto, and Mrs. Walker. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:20, 16 February 2007 (EST)

- Actually, there is one problem with adding the cat from the template: they'll all be sorted under "M" for Mr., Miss, Mrs. I can probably make this work (I did it for the cast & crew stubs) but it gets kind of complicated.--Hardvice (talk) 16:03, 16 February 2007 (EST)
- Well, if it's complicated, don't worry about it. Not really that big of a deal, you know? — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:15, 16 February 2007 (EST)

Useless character
Okay....What was the point of her character again? Heroe!(talk) 21:52, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
- It was twofold. She provided a distraction so that fan favorite Masi Oka could be in another episode. She also provided a nice one-liner: "I will find hope." ... "Hi. I'm Hope." (Although, Ando was speaking in Japanese, so wouldn't her name have to be the Japanese word for "hope" to be funny to Ando?) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:14, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
