Who named it?

Omni-Linguism is the common comic book title. Linguistic Assimilation is also used. Omnilingualism is what was written in our fan powers.

  • Regardless of what it ends up being called, the capitalization is wrong. I'll move it for now.--Hardvice (talk) 00:22, 6 November 2007 (EST)
    • I do prefer omnilingualism. Traveler doesn't just have an aptitude for language, he has the ability to speak any and all languages. Linguistic aptitude is more of a human ability, omnilingualism is more of an evolved human ability. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:28, 6 November 2007 (EST)

Omnilingualism is a thousand times better. There's no contest. --Piemanmoo 01:29, 6 November 2007 (EST)

The original name was me, and I based it largely on the Intuitive aptitude title for Sylar's original power. There are similarities, I think. But, I agree, Omnilingualism is much, much better. ZZ 07:16, 6 November 2007 (EST)

Omnilingualism is a lot harder to say :p--Matt 2108 11:12, 6 November 2007 (EST)

Picture

The picture doesn't really show him using his power. I think if we had a picture of him with dialogue, speaking to these people, it would better show what his power is. --phoenixautumn 15:59, 7 November 2007 (EST)

  • All the speech bubbles are in English. --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 17:32, 7 November 2007 (EST)
    • "Fortunatley, I speak ____"--Riddler 17:35, 7 November 2007 (EST)
      • It would also be nice if it was the right size this time. This one still isn't.--Hardvice (talk) 18:08, 7 November 2007 (EST)
        • I fixed the image size. If someone wants to try to grab a better picture, feel free.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:25, 7 November 2007 (EST)
          • Since we needed complete examples anyway, I grabbed 'em all. We can use whichever one people like best for the lead image.--Hardvice (talk) 23:14, 8 November 2007 (EST)

ANimals

DOesn't he talk to yaks? Jason Garrick 18:23, 10 November 2007 (EST)

  • I put the Note there that it's uncertain, though cited, that he may be able to speak to animals. It wasn't specifically shown that he can talk to the yaks, but he does make a reference that they "didn't have any information." He may be able to talk to them, but then again he may have just as well been joking. Thus, the Note. --Paronine 18:26, 10 November 2007 (EST)
