Hmm awesome link to this and the map.--Bob (talk) 21:52, 12 August 2008 (EDT)

Did he introduce himself?

Did this man introduce himself or was he credited as Usutu? I know Usutu is on the map, but I don't recall anywhere specifying that this man is him. Also, did anyone else catch that the painting on the rock Matt saw is the same as the one near Mohinder? Someone get a cap.--Riddler 00:33, 24 September 2008 (EDT)

  • It's from spoilers and IMDB that he's listed as Usutu. Also, there is no painting of Matt in the aired episodes, it's from a spoiler image. By the way, I think he has some of the best lines in the premiere. I'm very much looking forward to what the writers have in store for him, because his first dozen lines are hilarious.--Bob (talk) 08:05, 24 September 2008 (EDT)
  • "I should've gotten sprint." --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 11:57, 24 September 2008 (EDT)
    • Did no-one else think that was cheeky advertising? Oh well
    • Totally agree, Bob. By the way, his picture and name and a little more information are all on the assignment tracker map. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:52, 24 September 2008 (EDT)

Walkman

I do think it is a good idea to have an article on his listening device, but are we sure it is a Sony Walkman? I didn't get a very good look at it myself. --Pinkkeith 10:59, 2 October 2008 (EDT)

  • Have a look! :) I thought it was, but I can't remember from Monday. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:12, 2 October 2008 (EDT)
    • I don't see a brand on it, so to call it a Walkman isn't right. Is it a radio or a tape player? --SacValleyDweller (talk) 11:21, 2 October 2008 (EDT)
      • "music device"? Pierre 11:44, 2 October 2008 (EDT)
        • I think there's a brand on it later in the episode. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:55, 2 October 2008 (EDT)
          • screenshot? Pierre 18:21, 2 October 2008 (EDT)
            • How is a music player worthy of its own article is what I'm wondering TheEvilNoob
              • Because it seems to augment his ability or something like that. Also, why shouldn't it have its own article? I mean, Aron's diamonds do. --Aburu 19:51, 19 October 2008 (EDT)

Duel

Is it me or did i just see that usutu is back in the final.!!!! Gabriel Bishop 14:17, 11 December 2008 (EST) Gabriel Bishop

I think it was just something Matt was imagining. Which kinda makes sense seeing as he: 1. Fulfilled his destiny, 2. No one else seems to have seen him and 3. He prevented the horrible future Usutu had predicted. He likely saw it as something of a "you did it Matt" type of vision. A heroes hero 7:41, 20 December 2008.

A Clear and Present Danger

Usutu's appearance was an "illusion"? More likely, Usutu's spirit was communicating with Parkman. A question for Behind the Eclipse, I suppose. ebrown2112 08:32, 4 February 2009 (EST)

Mentaly Absorbed?

in the telivision series, Fringe, after an interface -- similar to the kind that Matt Parkman can induce between himself and others -- between two characters, fragments of one character's mind,'soul', and memories were imprinted into the mind of the protaganist, imbuning the character with much needed knowedge that they were unaware of until the other's mind awoke to reveal this information. Is it possible that Matt and Usutu have grafted their minds together due to the fact that they both have psychally driven powers? -- Halfbreed1426 03:41, 23 February 2009

  • Possible, but not likely. Heroes is usually more explicit on how things occur. I think this is really a case of Matt seeing visions of a person who has died. It's part of his new calling as a prophet. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:46, 23 February 2009 (EST)
    • This has been explained in BTE already, Matt can now use his telepathy to enter the same state of mind or realm of consciousness precogs do when they paint/dream. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 13:00, 23 February 2009 (EST)
      • Yes, but he would have needed guidence to enter that plane, he would have either needed to have read the mind of another precog, or have been guided to that 'place' by someone, AKA Usutu. And it is likely that Usutu existed, subsonciously into Matt's mind, wandering there to imprint part of him self when painting.
        • Like the BTE said, by giving Matt the paste, Usutu helped him open his mind to that realm. Usutu himself did nothing like mentally connect with Matt. Ability wise, Usutu did nothing. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 13:16, 28 February 2009 (EST)
