The Company

  • Since there are clear connections between the Company and the Linderman Group (Thompson talking to Nathan about Linderman's plans, Candice doing missions for Linderman), do we need to include anything related to the company on this template? Should we have a "see also: the Company"?--Bob 16:27, 24 September 2007 (EDT)
    • It's listed as one of the organizations. Do you think there should be more? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:38, 24 September 2007 (EDT)
      • Ah, missed it. I'll take off company stuff though like Candice.--Bob 16:41, 24 September 2007 (EDT)
        • Actually, Candice is one of those rare cases where she really did work for both. Remember, she went to the Sanderses' home to grab Micah on Linderman's orders? And then she was holding Micah at the Kirby Plaza building until Linderman came? Yeah, she's ostensibly working for both organizations. I'll change it back for ya. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:43, 24 September 2007 (EDT)

So of all the navbars of this nature, the Linderman one is the only one that hasn't been nominated for deletion...and that's probably just because it's relatively small and doesn't show too many signs of growing. I don't have a problem with the actual navbar, I have a problem with multiple navbars in general. We previously deleted a similar navbar for Jessica's victims (see here) and for the Company (see here). There's been talk of killing the Sylar template (see here), and I've also nominated the new Pinehearst template for deletion (see here). Each of the navbars is nice on its own, but the issue is that lots of navbars make a page look really gross--they're too bulky, and they ultimately defeat the purpose of easy navigation. I say we just get rid of them and stick to the nice navbars we usually have (the ones that link all characters, or the ones that link all transportation-related places, or the ones that link all drugs together, etc.)...then these subject-related navbars could better be represented in a Related Articles page, or a list page. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 05:02, 17 October 2008 (EDT)

  • I agree with you. I myself don't care for these navbars.--Iheartheroes (talk) 21:53, 12 August 2009 (EDT)
