Inertia amplification is the ability to increase the inertial force acting on an object, making it effectively heavier therefore slower-moving.

Pete was only shown amplifying Edward Pall’s inertia during superspeed, slowing him down and causing him whiplash-like injuries including massive internal bleeding. Pete was inexperienced with this ability, so it full potential was never realized.
