  • If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
  • Of course, if you have your own idea for a new article, that's great, too.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the Summary field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.

    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.

  • You can also customize your user page if you like.

Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Character navs

Please stop adding previous season character navs to character pages. The navbar allows you to visit other seasons. We keep only the most recent season they've been shown on. Thanks.--Bob (talk) 20:42, 24 November 2008 (EST)

EpisodesCreated

Template:EpisodesCreated is a template that automatically updates cast and crew pages with the episodes they've written or directed. Template:NovelsCreated does the same thing for graphic novel crew members. There is no need to take the template off and organize it differently. Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:54, 7 December 2008 (EST)

  • I saw that you recently removed the template on pages like Tim Kring and Jeph Loeb, and replaced it with the manual updates (which were bulky and oddly formatted anyway). Please stop doing this. Thank you. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:38, 30 April 2009 (EDT)

Nielsen Ratings

Hi! Thanks for your help trying to update the Nielsen Ratings article, though where did you get the Nielsen Ratings you just added? I've been listing the numbers as I've been getting them from the specified sources at the bottom of the page, but your new figures do not appear to come from them. The ratings there are supposed to be the initial one-week final ratings, which do not include the two week DVR results.--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:00, 14 December 2008 (EST)

Danko

Hey, DP99. I just wanted to let you know that for the wiki's purposes, we don't consider a character recurring until after he or she has appeared four times. So as soon as Danko appears again, we can "promote" him to be a recurring character. Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:03, 21 February 2009 (EST)

  • Just to clarify, it's only episode appearances that count if it's for the episodic characters listing.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:27, 21 February 2009 (EST)
