Claire's birth year

Hi, ZyberGoat. I noticed you changed Claire's birth year from 1990 to 1991 on the timeline. She was reported by the Odessa Register as being 18 months old during the fire, which took place on Feb 27 1992. (See the date (2/28/1992) on the newspaper cover.) If she were about 18 months old in 1992, that means she was born somewhere in the end of 1990. (See Claire_Bennet#Notes for the full explanation.) I changed the date back. Let me know if you have some other theory. Thanks! - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:18, 31 January 2007 (EST)

  • Sorry for the mix-up. I was just going off the thought that if she were born in 1990, she would be 15 in 2005, and 16 in 2006. I must have had a temporary blank on the fact that Heroes world is moving much slower than real time. You're right, her birthday must be in late in the year. --ZyberGoat 23:28, 31 January 2007 (EST)
    • Mr. Bennet DID say she was turning 16 soon. :P--Riddler 23:32, 31 January 2007 (EST)
      • Actually, Claire herself said it. I don't know why my mind couldn't get over the hump that if it was 2006, she'd be 16 by then. Though 18 months prior to February would put her birth month as August or September. I blame those crazy writers. --ZyberGoat 23:38, 31 January 2007 (EST)
        • Well, and we need to remember that the newspaper saying she was "18 months old" in the end of February doesn't mean she's exactly that age, could be an approximation, or just a mistake. (Afterall, it reported her dead - not exactly up on the details, are they?) The Fix takes place right in the end of October, so Claire will be turning sixteen probably in the end of October or beginning of November. This actually makes her about 15-16 months old during the fire. ... And now my head hurts. :) - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:22, 1 February 2007 (EST)
          • See? This is what I mean. The timeline was confusing enough when trying to pin down a date for Homecoming; now they add in all these quasi-inconsistencies. I wonder if the official Heroes Wiki deals with silly things like these. Oh wait, who actually goes there? :-) --ZyberGoat 00:26, 1 February 2007 (EST)

Welcoming Users

Hey ZyberGoat. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up on using the "welcome" template. It's been throwing off the section edits when it's included, so we're moving to substitute the template instead. (See here for the discussion.) So instead of typing {{welcome}}, just type {{subst:welcome}}. Thanks! :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:26, 20 February 2007 (EST)
