The template to update is here and you just replace the old episode name with the new episode name where it appears in the template. The template shouldn't be updated until after the episode has finished airing in the UK. You might also want to check Special:Recentchanges to see if there's any comments left as to why one of your changes is undone.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:47, 10 June 2008 (EDT) Redirects Before adding a large number of redirects like that, it's a good idea to discuss it first just to make sure it's necessary and people are in agreement. Otherwise they may get deleted and it only wasted your time. :) For instance I don't think we need those redirects nor should we ever use them. We refer to episodes by their name for clarity; referring to an episode by "season 1 episode 3" makes it more difficult to identify the episode. I'm definitely interested in hearing other opinions, though. :) (Admin 12:43, 12 June 2008 (EDT)) Yeah I agree that they may never be linked like that in an article, but I think it makes it easier for people who don't know the name of an episode to find it, rather than going to the season page then finding the episode. You might want to consider making an "autosig" page in addition to your sig page. All you would do is place {{User:Friskymuffin/Sig}} on the page, and then change your preferences so your nickname says {{SUBST:User:Friskymuffin/Autosig}}. This would prevent having all that code on the talk pages every time you sign your name. I did think of the possibility that telekinesis caused the slicing. But I thought there wasn't as much evidence in favor of it rather than the possibilities of it being a separate ability. I should've known that there'd be a discussion on new pages, can I ask where this section is? Again thank you and sorry. Rybo I can see where you're coming from, and I partly agree, but like I said I think for now we have to accept that the show points to telekinesis being the weapon of choice for brain removal. There isn't a specific page for discussing new pages (as far as I know), but if you thought we should have a slicing page, you could comment on the telekinesis talk page, Sylar talk page, brain removal talk page, or even create a talk page for slicing by creating the page Talk:Slicing. I wouldn't do this now seeing as slicing isn't a confirmed ability, but in future one of these methods would be the best for creating a new page you think we might need, if you see what I mean. No reason to apologise, we all make mistakes! We're glad to have you here! Also another thing to note, when you write a talk page message, you should include your signature (you can find instructions and help on signatures on your talk page in the big welcome box). You don't need to make a signature because it will automatically appear as it has above, with a link to your page. But you can custom make one, if you need more help with that then I can give you some tips, it is rather nice to have a unique signature! Also, when you add a comment to a talk page, make sure you add a little star (*) so that it indents your comment. Each star is the number of replies, so if you leave the third comment (as above) go ahead and put two stars before your message. I've edited your reply so you can see what it should look like in future. I didn't realize until pretty recently that he was the squirrely guy in Saving Private Ryan. Faraday is awesome because he helps reveal some of the odd secrets about the island. With the exception of the Dharma scientists I don't know who else would understand it as well as he. Maybe Whitmore... but Faraday knows the scientific reasons. Yeah I like him 'cause he seems really intelligent and he does reveal a lot of secrets and stuff, and he also seems rather unusual and eccentric, I don't know what it is, but I just can't help but love him. Official policy, last I checked, is to confine all spoiler material, discussion of it, and specualtion on it (including previews) to the Spoiler namespace and only there. I know that you have modified spoiler stuff at Theory:Peter Petrelli. Spoilers in the theory space is one of the things I dread when I'm patrolling. In your future browsings at the theory space, would you mind clearing all spoilers and speculation based on previews out of there, please. I am a Wikipedia editor who while recently doing a little research noted an article that you created here. The article in question is Manon Dave, who the article credits as the Season 2 Composer for Heroes. The correct composer credits for the series are Lisa Coleman and Wendy Melvoin- Manon Dave appears to be a musician on Myspace attempting to pad his resume by falsifying articles on sites with user-submitted content. If you would like to correct the information and/or delete the page, or alternately if you can find any corroborating information to show that Manon Dave is indeed associated with the show, please let me know, as it means that I would be in error. He was already credited with being composer for Season Two, I simply made the page. It's an interesting query though, having checked around the net I've found snippets suggesting a couple of his songs have been on the show, and one unverified claim that he was indeed the composer. I'll have to check where we got the information from in the first place, to see if he was in fact a composer for Season Two or not. I think it's archived by now, but there's a small discrepancy with the dates and difference in time during the first season's timeline. It's a pain, but in Five Years Gone, Mohinder gives a date when Peter met Future Hiro. However, the date doesn't correspond with some other dates that are concrete. The main reason for this is the assumption that all events in an episode are happening simultaneously and in the same day. It's just me being nit-picky, but it's nothing too bad. It's been resolved for the most part, so it's not pertinent. The things on my to-do list that need help anytime soon are season two summaries (see some of the season one summaries for examples) and cleaning up all the theory pages (a lot of them are pretty bad). I'll give some of the season two summaries a go when I have chance though, so I'll check out some examples and do what I can. A few weeks ago I went through all the theory pages and gave them a (albeit not very thorough) clean up, fixing the <br> tags to <br /> and adding punctuation and correcting links and spelling where needed. But I didn't really look through much of the content, so that will probably need going over again. I'd be happy to do bits of that as well. Misspellings, grammar, punctuation and br tags (thanks for that btw). As for content, the one thing that appears a lot is debates, which belong on the talk page. If there's point/counterpoint over and over, but neither is a note to the theory, then it should be removed. I'll probably hit up some of the season two summaries as well.
