The liquid man is an evolved human who was captured for bag and tag by the Company 18 years ago on Noah Bennet's first assignment.

18 years ago, Company agents Maarten, Ivan and their trainee Noah, arrive at a train yard in Odessa, Ukraine to find the Liquid man. Ivan and Maarten spot him and tell him to stop.
