:You pointed something out to me I never noticed. Using that uncommon hardcore version of leetspeak, L337 becomes a leetspeak palindrome ( spelled the same backwards and forwards).
:I also understand that it is a bit of a reach and may be a coincidence with another couple of theories I have bouncing around in the old melon. The only reason that I know about this is I had to interact with four different communities when I first started going online. Each had its own dialect of leet, partially because of the way language and slang evolves in any community making their own version unique, plus the amount of censorship and monitoring that took place.For example
::One group was on services based around a Canadian University Internet Service, which was supposed to be open to all ages, so language and topics considered inappropriate or legally risky (hacking, lock-picking, copy protection circumvention for fair use, etc.) were filtered. The problem was they used learning software, that could censor attempts at getting around the filter. To beat that their leet got so leet they eventually made a 30 page dictionary file for newbs just getting in like me, because most people couldn't read it at all. With my minor learning disorder it was all I could do to keep from looking like one of Sylar's Victims.
::Group 2 was mostly made up of programmers that ran their own IRC Service. Very little censorship and leet was used the same way programming jargon was, less a necessity and more a fun choice.

Trust me on this, I am a certified professional trained in Computer Systems Support (End User Support, Network Administration, Hardware Installation and Troubleshooting, Office Data Entry, etc). For our courses we had to use the "Officially Recognized Proper Syntax". Wikipedia has this one wrong. It was Electronic-Mail, originally abbreviated E.M., but quickly changed as that was a common electronical term already. They then brought back the full word "Mail" and the dash. It is meant to be used as a proper noun and both Words are capitalized. When it grew in popularity and also became a verb, it is then that it is not capitalized.<p>

Ironically this wasn't the reason I changed it though. If you look, all other Theory subsections are fully capitalized (ie Hiro's Sword, Sylar's Victims) and I thought ascetically "email" should be capitalized.<p>

**There's nothing wrong with having some red links, and there's nothing wrong with having articles for the crew. Some wikis have pages for their stunt coordinators, for their visual effects guys, and Lostpedia even has pages for all their [[lostpedia:Portal:Voice Actors|foreign language voice actors]]. I'm not suggesting we jump straight to that extreme yet (although I am not opposed to it), but there's nothing wrong with having aricles for lots of crew members. When we get enough in a group we can always split them out of the [[Portal:Other|miscellaneous crew group]] and make their own group. **I'm not sure you need the gnbar in the middle of the crewnav bar--it looks a little odd. Plus, if it says row heading says "Graphic Novel Writers", then it seems a bit redundant, you know? One other issue: You've got an extra bullet after Graphic Novel Colorists in the See Also section. Hey, sorry for just taking out all those links {{--}} I had forgotten that you updated them with the wayback machine. I went through and made some changes so it only includes live links and only puts links on the page if there is an archive variable added. * It is alright, I can see why you don't want a bunch of dead links. I do need the old links in order to find the archive links, but I can do if from [[User:Level/List_of_graphic_novels|my list]]. Animated novel downloads

      • Ah, I found out you have to download and install the plugin from here, but for Windows you have to have XP or Vista. I have 2000 so I can't use it. Drat. Maybe you can download it? I should add that even though I have 2000 I tried to download it and install it. It upgraded my Windows components, and restarted my computer. Then a box came up saying something like "Sorry, you need to have at least Windows XP to use this software." After clicking ok, my computer froze; but I rebooted it and it's okay.         • Hrm, maybe it did mess with my computer more than I realized. And running my separate boot disk it says it can't find a fat or fat32 sector on the drive, hrm.
