It is not like the popular belief a zombie-related sect, in fact the vodou dalls have much more influence from the Wicca, than from the vodou itself. Is a conformed religion which is based in rituals which have a lot of simbolism in them, using items like fruits and pictures(even though there are chiken sacrifices, it is badly seen in the religion itself, its more like a fanatism in that point wich according to the vodou can result in disaster to the practician), but its basicly the adoration of the Loa what is more important. |

It is not like the popular belief a zombie-related sect, in fact the vodou dalls have much more influence from the Wicca, than from the vodou itself. Graphic Novel:It Takes a Village, Part 1
The Haitian seems to have a vodouist past which can be seen troughout the grafic novel, in there the Haitian mentions that their village was protected because his father was chosen by the Loa. It was whispered that the village was protected by the Loa thanks to the true believers and honor servants found in there. Refering to the interpretation the villagers gave to the power of Bliss and Horror Guillame had.
