Season One
Homecoming
A shadowy figure stands in front of the trophy case at Union Wells High School, reading the newspaper clipping about Jackie Wilcox's award for supposedly rescuing the man from the train wreck. On his hand is a broken watch — it's Sylar.
Later, the lights in the locker room suddenly go out and a shadowy figure passes by. Jackie protests as Claire attempts to lead her to safety, and suddenly Sylar grabs Jackie by the neck, pins her against a locker, and lifts her up in the air. Claire jumps on Sylar, but he throws her off and sends her flying into a wall. Jackie screams. Sylar covers Jackie's mouth and puts his finger in the air near her forehead. Suddenly there's a slicing noise and Jackie's skull is sliced open spraying blood everywhere.
When Claire regenerates, Sylar realizes she's the one he's after, and slams her against he wall he had just threw her against. He started to slice her skull open but too slowly and her body began to repair itself. Sylar tried again faster and managed to take the top of Claire's skull off before it could regenerate, and immediately began to examine her brain. Minutes later Sylar had examined the brain and cut open his own arm using telekinesis, and it regenerated within minutes.
As Sylar made his way out of the High School and climbed a nearby hill he saw Eden leaning against a tree. Upon seeing her he pauses momentarily before raising his hand. Surprised, he seems unable to use his powers. Using her ability, Eden tells Sylar that he doesn't want to hurt her and that they need to talk. She tells him to tell her all about himself, but first he needs to sleep. The Haitian catches Sylar off guard, and covers his eyes. Sylar then falls to the ground, unconscious.
Fallout
At the Primatech Paper Co., Sylar is being held in a metal room within the secure medical facility; he is separated from an outer room by a glass security window. Eden enters the outer secure room under Noah's secret orders. Sylar tells her that he knows her; she responds she lived next door to Chandra Suresh. Sylar marvels over her power of persuasion. Eden uses her power and orders Sylar to die, as she had done to her stepmother years ago. However, unlike her stepmother, Sylar didn't simply die, instead he proves to be powerful enough to resist the demand and telekinetically pulls her through the security glass, shattering it. He grabs her by the throat and tells her that he's going to consume her power. Before she can kill herself he throws the gun out of her hand and begins opening her skull. Minutes later she's dead and Sylar has absorbed her ability
Leaving the facility Sylar kills the guards who try and stand in his way, while sparing one who cowers. Whilst leaving the facility Sylar remembered one name from Chandra Suresh's list - Niki Sanders.
Godsend
When Sylar reaches Las Vegas he immediately begins looking for any information on Niki, briefly going into an internet cafe. Searching her name he finds a news story about Niki having been arrested for admitting to the murders of a gang and the theft of $2 million. He sees that Niki is being kept in a Women's Correctional Facility and, after knocking a man out and stealing his suit, makes his way to the facility. When there Sylar pretends to be Niki's attorney and tries to work out what her power is, and as he pushes Niki's alter-ego, Jessica comes out. Suspicious of Sylar's motives she attacks him, before the guards can respond Sylar has forced Jessica back and smashes her through a window, following after her and begins to cut open her skull, for a brief moment Niki is able to take over her body before Sylar finishes and she dies.
Sylar realises he needs to get out of Las Vegas now as more people than usual had seen him and the FBI would be after him, so he takes the car the lawyer had arrived in and drives off into the Nevada desert, after a while he sees lights being emitted from a cabin in the middle of nowhere and decides to see where they are coming from.
The Fix
Sylar arrives at the cabin and looks in through the window and sees a man sat on a chair emitting an incredibly bright balls of light from his hands. Sylar felt the need to take another power once again, he burst into the cabin and made the man fall back off his chair. Sylar keeps him pinned to the floor and stands over him, initially watching him beg for his life until his whole body starts glowing, to which Sylar responded by ripping his skull open, realising that if he didn't Ted could explode.
Distractions
Sylar decides to return to New York, unsure how he will find anyone new with abilities. He hitchhikes a ride, however quickly realises the driver isn't going his way and so kills him. When Sylar arrives the next day he sees a comic book on a newspaper stand, on it he sees the artist is Isaac Mendez, quickly recognising it from what little he could remember of Chandra Suresh's list. On the back of the comic he read the artists address, and immediately set off.
When he arrived at the loft, he saw that both Isaac and a lady were talking inside. He proceeded to enter, surprising both of them. When they ask what he wants he proceeds to simply throw the lady aside, knocking her out against a wall. Before Isaac can react Sylar tells him to stand still, and orders he tell Sylar what his ability is. Isaac proceeds to explain how he can paint the future, after which Sylar starts splitting his head open and extracts his brain and ability.
Run!
At Isaac's apartment Sylar is painting, using his new-found ability to illustrate the future. When he stopped painting he saw an image of a man beheaded, laying dead on the ground in an apartment, one which Sylar recognised as being Chandra Suresh's apartment. Seconds afterward the phone begins to ring, and when he answers it the caller turns out to be Mohinder Suresh. While Suresh initially thought he was calling Isaac Mendez, he recognised the voice of being that which had been on the 'Sylar tape'. Byt this point it was too late and Sylar realised that Suresh must have some way of finding more evolved humans.
When Sylar reached Mohinder's apartment, Suresh was waiting and was prepared. However when he initially attacked Sylar he simply told Mohinder to back off. Suresh obediently did so and Sylar looked at the list of names, taking them in and remembering them instantly. He was interrupted when Peter began to knock on the door, Mohinder yelled out and so Peter barged in. Sylar immediately recognised him from the painting and slammed him against a wall. Before he could get to work he heard a car pull up outside and he recognised one of the voices - it was the man in the horn-rimmed glasses. Realising what his prophecy meant, Sylar, somewhat unwillingly, begins to pull Peter's head off his body and eventually taking it off. Almost as soon as he does he realises his powers are dissipating and that he has to get out of there. Mohinder attacks him and injures him, but Sylar proves to still be naturally stronger and pushes him away, escaping out the window before Noah and the Haitian make it to the apartment.
