Opening blurb: There's a moment in every war where everything changes. A moment where the road bends. Alliances and battle lines shift. And the rules of engagement are rewritten. Moments like these can change the turn of battle. (gaaah I couldn't keep up here) To be ready for change, we steady our hearts, curb our fears, muster our forces, and look for signs in the stars. But these moments, these game changes, remain a mystery. Destiny is an invisible hand, moving pieces on a chess board. (lost track again here)<br /> |

too parter!!!
- Yes, it's also a two parter. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:08, 17 September 2008 (EDT)
Date
Why does the date of airing say that we are getting another week off? Tristan0709 02:42, 14 November 2008 (EST)
- Cause I think originally there was going to be no Heroes the Monday of Thanksgiving Week, and The Eclipse would air the following week as a two-hour episode. But now per NBC Universal Media Village, it looks like the network has changed its mind.--MiamiVolts (talk) 02:55, 14 November 2008 (EST)
- I've just updated the date to correspond to the new official schedule (11/24/08 for this episode).--MiamiVolts (talk) 03:01, 14 November 2008 (EST)
- Ok, forgive my ignorance, but do shows normally take a week off for Thanksgiving? We don't have Thanksgiving over here so I have no idea. Tristan0709 03:26, 14 November 2008 (EST)
- It depends on what the networks have planned. Often times, they do rearrange schedules for holidays, and air more family-oriented shows or movies during those times to appear to a broader audience.--MiamiVolts (talk) 03:53, 14 November 2008 (EST)

Take away their powers?
If the Eclipse gave them their power how come Peter was using Precognitive Dreaming before the eclipse? Why would an eclipse give them/take away powers when their powers are a part of their biology/physiology/whatever? This makes absolutely no sense. --Snow Leapord 22:05, 17 November 2008 (EST)
- Hey come on. It's Heroes. There could be some... I dunno, weird ray from eclipses that interacts with the heroes' bodies. To say flat out that eclipses don't do anything when we don't know everything about how evolved humans work is just silly. Though you do bring a good point with the eclipse giving powers, though. That's been discussed before, and as far as we know, it's a plothole. Of course, NBC's doing the narrations for the promos, not the creators themselves, so they could be wrong. Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 22:08, 17 November 2008 (EST)
If there are "weird rays" then those rays are coming from the moon crossing paths with the sun, if the "weird rays" can take it is plausible they can give as well if you have the genetic predisposition for it. Or it could be the fact the powers are solar powered. Either way the promo makes Heroes sound hokey and idiotic imho. --Snow Leapord 22:15, 17 November 2008 (EST)
