Her son Peter meets a man who uses invisibility to sort of frame him for purse snatching (Distractions).	• Claude has behaved as if he encountered people like Peter before — even helped them understand their powers. Perhaps those people include Angela and/or Peter's father.
Angela Petrelli has a power.	None.	+ Both the Petrelli boys have powers and Claire has a power because her biological parents has powers. + Angela seems to suggest that she has powers when she says to Claire, "[In Paris], you'll have the chance to grow up and develop into someone that can make her own choices, and then if you choose to... to come back and join this madness like I once did." The implication is strong enough that Claire asks, "You mean you're like me?" (.07%) - It is more reasonable to say that Claire thought that Angela was in the exact same situation with her biological parents. It's illogical for Claire to think that Angela would "come back and join this madness" because she had a power. • This is unlikely considering Angela has watched over Claire and knows about her powers. Also when Angela refers to "madness" it would only make sense she's referring to people with abilities. + Nathan acts very strangely when he talks with Claire. He says "I did... I do" in response to "Your mother said you wanted to see me". He also displays mannerisms and speech patterns that are exactly like Angela's, while contradicting a seemingly agreed-upon action between Nathan and Peter to get Claire to stay in New York. This may suggest a power of telepathic control, shapeshifting, takeover, or illusion possessed by Angela. (.07%) - Nathan does not act strangely at all. That scene fit his nature and character. He wants to win the election and is still questioning Linderman's "plan." Despite this conflict, he still wants Claire as a daughter, and says she will be back with her family. Also, Nathan believes the explosion is imminent and may be trying to get Claire safely away. • If there is a link between the mother and the passing on of the abilities, it is possible, since all mitochondrial DNA comes from the mother, that this is the key to expressed abilities. + She appears to know much more than one would normally. She knows of incidents that have happened to Claire, she knew Nathan Petrelli was questioning allowing the explosion to take place, she knew Linderman had died, and she mysteriously appears at exactly the right point in time when Claire is trying to escape. (How to Stop an Exploding Man). + When trying to convince Nathan to just let the explosion happen, she places her hands on his back. Moments later, he is agreeing with her, saying variations of exactly what she said. Later, when Peter reads Nathan's mind, he is thinking the same thing ("It can't be stopped") over and over again. (How to Stop an Exploding Man) + It is implied that she does have an ability. She seems to know about people and events when others just figure things out as well. Her point of view seems to be the same as the others around her or at least those she choices. When she is speaking to Nathan, she seems to strongly imply the word "perspective". In study, perhaps that is her power, seeing the point of view or wants of others. This would explain Peter's dream of Nathan's car accident. Peter may have absorbed her power since he was around her so long, taking on her power of "Perspective". In theory, her power would allow her to see the point of view of anyone she wishes. Peter was most likely thinking all night about Nathan wanting to prosecute their father so Nathan was the only person on his mind. If he absorbed his mother's powers, he was seeing Nathan's accident first hand, from his point of view. Yes, he saw it later than Nathan did but maybe that power can allow you to view what they have seen at any time. This would also explain how she knew about both Peter and Nathan's powers when they were going to tell her in front of the fireplace. Also, this suggests her power when Nathan is surprised that his mother knew that Nathan wanted to talk to Claire.
Angela is an empath.	None.	+ Angela's evasive answer to Claire indicates she may have a power. (.07%) + Claude has apparently encountered an empath before, since he seems familiar with Peter's powers. - However, he was not familiar with how an empath's powers work. • This could have been because the Empath he knew had powers that worked differently - no two evolved humans have yet been shown to possess similar, let alone the same powers. Also, he could have intentionally been misleading Peter about how his powers would work. + Empathy could explain any number of odd abilities she seems to have.
Angela has rapid cell regeneration.	None.	+ Angela's evasive answer to Claire indicates she may have a power. (.07%) + She seems to hint at this when she says to Claire, "You get that mouth from me." She had mentioned Claire being able to spit up bullets, so she may have been referring to this. (.07%) - It's more reasonable to say that Angela was referring to Claire's rude mouth: "Whether I want to or not." Angela too uses harsh words when she was talking to Peter after the shoplifting incident and in Peter's hospital bed after he tried to fly. She could also have been talking about a physical resemblance. • When Angela says "Broken bones and spitting up bullets" she is referring to Claire's power. - If she did, Peter would not have needed to be close to Claire to heal, after battling Sylar at the Homecoming. + However, Peter was not familiar with using his powers by thinking about someone, and he was not aware his mother had powers. - He was also not aware that Claire had any powers. He almost certainly suspected that she did, but he had no way of knowing what they were. + However, the incident in Homecoming occurred before Peter was able to recall powers when their originators were not present, which could explain why he did not exhibit his mother's powers of healing (if she has any). - After she is beaten up by an unknown enemy in Lizards, her wounds dont immediately heal.

Since Peter's abilities are derived from people he knows or has met, he may have been tapping into her clairvoyance. - Peter had a dream; it is more likely that his empathy connected with Nathan and he saw the accident through his point of view. He even mentions that he was connected with his brother, and explains to his mother how he was connected -- "No, I'm saying before the call. Like he was telling me, 300 miles away. I woke up, and I knew that he'd been hurt." (Genesis) + Ask Ausiello revealed that Angela has a power that is "very similar to a power possessed by another hero, only in her case, it takes a lot less effort to get from Point A to Point B." To get from Point A to B is a way to say 'to get from start to finish, or to the end result'. Angela Petrelli's power could be a simpler version of Isaac Mendez' power - the effort reduced is the fact that she doesn't need to paint to see the future (the end result of Isaac' power).

(.07%) + She has possibly referred to the aspect of mental transportation by: 1) knowing Claire spit up bullets, 2) knowing about Peter and Nathan's powers before they did. + She has possibly referred to the aspect of physical transportation by: 1) talking about "taking Claire" to Paris. 2) Ask Ausiello revealed that Angela has a power that is "very similar to a power possessed by another hero, only in her case, it takes a lot less effort to get from Point A to Point B." One interpretation is that it is a physical transportation power of getting from A to B, like Hiro's teleportation. • Transportation could have both mental and physical applications, therefore allowing Angela to mentally transport into the minds/memories/dreams of others, as well as to physically transport from location to location similar to telekinesis. It could also be something along the lines of astral projection. + She implies that though it didn't seem like she was there for Claire, she was there in ways she might not understand. • It seems more likely that she was referring to how she was watching over Claire from a distance, such as by ordering the Haitian not to wipe her memory.

Angela is the hooded killer.	None.	+ If Angela has the power of teletransportation or astral projection, then she could have pushed Hiro's father, and in the middle of the fall, teleport to safety or end the projection. This could be why there is only Kaito's body when Ando looks down. + Kaito said that the hooded killer was the last person he expected, and Kaito had a conversation with Angela just minutes ago. Angela could have gone there to kill Kaito the first time, but postponed the plan because Ando was there. + Nathan says that she is evil. + She received the same death threat that Kaito received; maybe she killed Kaito to "save her skin" and maybe she gave herself the death threat to appear innocent. - When she saw the picture on the wall, she was shocked and worried. Why would she pretend to do so when she's alone in the hallway?. - The body structure of the hooded killer was completely different from Angela's body, it dosen't make any sense that Angela was the same person who pushed Kaito from the roof.
