Power negation pills were given to evolved humans by Bob and Elle to negate their powers.

Four Months Ago

Peter Petrelli took them to stay safe, however after realizing that he is in a jail cell, kept away from his family, he pretends to take them and uses his acquired power of phasing to escape from his cell. Niki Sanders took them for a little while, but poured them down the kitchen sink. Eventually, one of her other selves caught up with her.

In Niki, the pills had an obvious side effect of depression — she says she cannot smile on her son's birthday. In Peter, however, this side effect does not seem to occur.

Notes

• Elle calls them "Haitian pills" because their effects are similar to the Haitian's power negation abilities.
